Hi folks,

i just released (updated!) version 1.1 of "Exit", Prodyon's first try on an audio enhancer/exciter. (FREEWARE, Win VST, 32 Bit).

Unlike others, this gear will colour the sound.
Some may like it - some other's don't. It features variable Bass Enhancement, and shifting frequencies "in time", stereo spread and more.

Changes:
-reduced GUI shadows :hihi:
-added bass stereo field narrowing
-removed dry/wet knob
-added solo button for bass/high frequencies

Please give it a try and let me know your thoughts!

Trying it right now, at first insert I thought wtf is this!?... I checked as my correlation meter went crazy :)

But after tweaking it a little, I think depending on the user this can be an amazing tool! if someone doesn't like mastering this can be the tool to just insert and smile :D

Till now I tried it on 2 rock mixes, it naturally didn't do everything I wanted to hear but results were scary good. But to me it needs some changes:

I think you should remove the wet/dry control, I guess some phase tricks are going on inside it and it doesn't sound good between 0% to 100% settings.

wideness control from 100% to 200% seems to be overkill, though narrowing the stereo image can be useful.

Bass enhance knob can be more sensitive though not a must.

Adding a good limiter for only low end control is a must and also maybe a stereo narrowing control for sub freq.s would be useful.

As said I only tryed it on 2 mixes till now, I'll write again if I notice anything else. But its a good plug-in, thanks for sharing :)

Generous, thanks.

One wish though: would you consider re-doing the knobs' shadow on the gui - or even remove them? I for one care less for them.

:wheee:

Thanks for the tips and ideas, guys! Will consider them, very good ideas.
And thanks for the comments! :)

Oh, and yes, will reduce the shadow effects on the gui ;)

I like the low end parts, but it does color a ton.

The exciter is too high pitched, it hurts.

Another nice find here on KVR - Thanks a Ton - will test it out today in Sonar Producer 8.5 (63-bit).
Now the proud owner of an avid 11 Rack, Running Pro Tools 10.3.3 - for me it's heaven!

The bass half is awesome now, the coloring is no problem, sounds natural.

The exciter is still brutal, it's basically an eq.
