lol. dsk has redone all of his plugins for mutlicore, which is great.
less great, is that he's putting them out via megaupload, which requires
you to go through the 'wait 45 seconds' gubbins, after entering a safety
code; that's 20-odd plugins, at 45+seconds each, and you can only get one
at a time.

sorry for banging on about the soundfont apps; turns out
Viena(one N) DOES actually do a pretty good job of auditioner/non-sBlaster
editor/default sf2file association; finally got it working last night: you
have to select the asio driver; (and asio4all is now at version 2.10, and
realtek laptops DO deal with it

grenade was nice, last free helix, creakbox, orchestral strings, off top of
head...haven't tried em all yet. tend to like synths that arent plastered
with fx, and focus on nice quality of sound, and have a decent layout. there
was a mad noise generator recently with an interesting design, that was good.
