They typically don't activate the Paypal option until after 200 people have joined (and the minimum price has been met). Otherwise, if the GB doesn't meet the minimum price, they have to get everyone who paid via paypal to pay the difference.todd_r wrote:The option is there for paypal, but when I tried it got the message 'Paypal won't work with group buy'tman2k (Meathook Audio) wrote: Did you ever setup this Paypal option? There's been some discussion of starting the Paypal earlier in this group buy (since it's only $6 off the min. price), but they haven't done that yet.

We're only 17 away from the lowest price anyway so at this point... it's a lock. We'll open the Paypal version today and also extend the freebie bonus to the first 300 people instead of just the first 200 to be nice. That freebie is a Multitrack kit - another choice from the same selection of 4 from last time. So a chance to get another one.jsp1979 wrote:They typically don't activate the Paypal option until after 200 people have joined (and the minimum price has been met). Never mind, I renamed the previous ones' folder to "Squidimidi". For me it's already official.Squids wrote: we will include over 100 Squidimidi (this time I'll even call it that officially)

So,
I'm giving away AAS Ultra Analog, got it in a shopping spree for 15 bucks, demoed, it's good but I don't really need it...
I'm giving it away for free but:
a) you have to check is what do to to make it legally yours. I haven't registered it at all so it should be easy.
b) you have to refer me in this GB (user name: soulata), so it's really only for the ones that are considering joining this GB.
First come, first served.

Hey Squids. I saw in your post that, by joining the GB before the 300 mark, you get to select one of the multi kits from the previous GB. I joined early without knowing that the multi is one of the kits from the previous GB. Unfortunately, I purchased the DVD version just so I could get those extra kits. Does that mean I get nothing for joining early? Do you think you could add a little something for those of us who joined the first group buy, bought the DVD set and joined the new GB early? It kinda feels like I'm getting screwed for spending more money, and if I have learned anything about Mr. Squids it is that he doesn't want anybody to feel like they are getting screwed.

I also got DVDs upgrade on last group buy -- having the extra multi kit versions are nice.
One thing I've learned buying software and participanting in package deals is once you purchase something there's a chance for overlap in future bargains (especially when specifics weren't yet announced).
The only way to avoid duplication is buy ala carte which costs many times more. A price of $99 for the core 25 drum kits + MIDI + Convolution Impulses is still a pretty fantastic deal -- like $4 per drumkit without counting hybrids.
One nice "bonus" surprise is the DVD option on this new Group Buy Sequel II has been lowered to FREE (plus shipping) instead of $20: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... &start=367
My grief with all these never ending KVR deals? Either deleting old files or shopping for a 1TB Glyph.
