That is usually good news for all of your users.

Best of luck.

Could midi keys on/off be done without the gui, using for example, a keypress combo of mk
to turn it on/off?
Cheers :)

The prob I did run into was really a bit strange. While I had it working with the old SE dev environment it caused some strange trouble with the new one.
No matter what I did try using MIDI keys to trigger led to muting the tracks which is simply unexplainable. There is probably something 'hidden' behind the sequencer gates/triggers in relation to the MIDI triggers. It is not simply done in (hard)switching the different gate sources as even in that case it did happen :-(
And there is no point in switching back to the prior dev environment as I do need the new and faster envelope genetrators to get rid of those accidental clicks with the kicks.
After fiddling around to solve this for one and half a day I finally decided: If you wanna get into it, you gotta get of it as sometimes one does not see the forest because of all the trees ;-) Thus postponing this was the best choice for now.

cheers

P.S. Actually I had in mind to do another set of 128 FX drum & percussionsounds for another bank but this shit gave me a real setback .... :bang:

bobsled wrote:Your "different solution" sounds like an interesting concept, something unique to the plugin. An elegant solution offering more flexibility than a master switch.

I did have a suggestion toward the addition of an overall button. I do not presume to change your donation-ware system, but perhaps those who do donate could receive a gui with the overall switch replacing the donate button (or some such).

Anyway, thanks again for considering the feature request.
ok, single out is done switchable individually at each slot as a global setting valid for all patches in a bank.
So you might have part 2 and 3 as single out while the remaining are still on the Stereo Main out (1/2).

Anyway, bobsled, now expect some terrific little demo from you showing the extra value of single out :D

Thank you so much. I really like how choosing individual out causes that out to bypass the onboard effects. This allows users to quickly and easily add their own eq and effects. Or, as is typically the case for the bass drum, route immediately to a side-chain comp as needed for co-existing in a track with a bass guitar.

Be careful what you ask for, I'm back into a pretty "glitchy" phase. Wouldn't you rather settle for a donation later this week after I get paid?

ok, I see :-)

anyway let me know how it is working in practise. I've the feeling I should change routing as in most cases kick is used in slot / track 1 and this one is most likely to be used as single out. So probably slot 6 is better suited to be used as Main out 1&2. With this solution kick can remain in track / slot 1 while others can utilize the internal fx.

That would be terrific, and even more user friendly. Options are generally a good thing.

ok, then I'll simply shift the output assignment
Inst 1 - 3/4
Inst 2 - 5/6
...
Inst 6 - 1/2

expect an update later today :D

Ok, it's done - links for quickies are the same as above.

I did shift the output assignment:
slot 1 = Out 3/4 to slot 5 = Out 11/12 and slot 6 = Out 1/2
so even slot 6 bypasses the internal fx when used for single out.

I have a few VST's but I am still fairly new VST's, so I am wondering, "What advantage does the single out have?"

As this still seems to be in development how about auto mute for all 6 tracks?

Oh.. still ing? How about Boost for all 6 tracks? :D well.. I have a paper.. writen some days ago.. will I post? all right..

---------------------------------------------

I have some story. You know Percumat2 sub title 'Rhythm machine for baking drums & percussion'. This is a episode about that.

when I make 4 preset for him, I really didn't know that fortune already has got 60 presets. :-o and I wanted to show Percumat2 can up tempo bit like dance or trance to people or Fortune :( .

so, I made Dnb preset. It was most good at my 4 preset. and all preset was used kick4. but, I found some bug, and there is no kick4 at next version. I have to change kick. but, I couldn't choose proper kick for DnB mood. :(

I changed to kick3, but, when I push up kick volume for Dnb mood, It need peak eat limiter. and If I down kick volume, I couldn't hear kick sound. Dnb preset was best at my preset, but now, it is worst preset. :( I tried some fix. next is your's. :D

Fortune changed kick 4 to more strong kick. but, I am still missing kick4. :( and In fact, there was maximizer effect at my host mixer from the first beginning. Anyway, 'Don't make DnB with Percumat2'. But who will make DnB with Percumat2. I was crazy. I forgot 'Rhythm machine for baking drums & percussion'.

But, In truth, I had knew it. I didn't make Dnb preset for really DnB. I just thought it will be useful for the man who need a machine for his guitar study.

BUT, I am still feel something wanting. Yes, Percumat kick sound isn't strong. and it will be good for ambient. but, when there was some problems at font osc, I wanted to tell him about this. but I didn't. because Percumat2 have to be for Ambient first.

percumat2 kick sound volume is big. but, it sounds such as very lower volume kick sound at windows media player. It doesn't sounds like SE font player or sampler. So, I expect percumat 3 again as a main rhythm machine at some day, well, who know he may make it?

I just wanted to chime in here and let HG know what a great instrument this is. I gave it a bit of a workout last night. The layout takes a bit of getting used to, and the UI is a bit, well, LARGE (for my screen at least), but man, what a great concept. I love spicing up rhythm tracks with different complimentary beats, and PM really gets this right.

The presets are all useful and are also great starting points for experimentation. My favorite is the India-flavored Tabla. With various FX treatments, I actually already threw these into a couple of tracks I'm working on.

And for anyone who has not yet checked this out, I think a few will agree with me that, IMHO, PM is a better beat resource than another recently introduced, low cost drum synth from a major DAW dev.

Very nice, HG.
Cheers

as bobsled already wrote as an example:

Basically to keep that side feature as simple as possible. Wait until I'll have reinstalled MIDI control on that and I'll probably add trackmuting per keyboard.
