I've tried to separate as much as I can from the PC, but I'm too deep in to crazy experimental stuff. So I still need Renoise sometimes to put things together.SampleScience wrote:I like your setup, do you exclusively use hardware?
Most of my tracks are recorded live, and hardware allow me to have quick access to all parameters.

Gone are the Monomachine and Ebbe und Flut.
New kids on the block: Voyager RME, CP-251 + VX-352 in the rack, MF-102 + MF-104Z resting on the Virus. Proper patch cables on order and should arrive this week. Until then I'm making do with whatever instrument cables I have lying around.
A couple of quick snaps of the new setup:

i'd have loved your ebb and flut off you but it was way out of my ££ range.

I realized early this year that the sequencer end of the Monomachine is a huge part of what it is and that it was completely wasted on me... just not much of a sequencer guy. Once I'd made the decision to let the Mono go and thought about what direction I was headed in, the E und F seemed a logical choice for liquidation. It's an amazingly nice sounding thing, and in a world of unlimited funds I surely would have kept it. But yes, for now things are totally Moogtacular!blaster78 wrote:what prompted the transition to your new moogtacular setup poly ?polyslax wrote:Gone are the Monomachine and Ebbe und Flut.

Your Moog rig is a real thing of beauty Matt. Eric (aka Vieris/rhythminmind) has a very similar setup and it is at least two tons of fun.
Here are the last shots of my current setup before it all gets packed up in preparation for our big move.

and here is a little jam I recorded to accompany the pics.

What a mess! I love it
I like how you have random equipment stacked on a bookcase that you actually use.
