Drum map from Alesis DM6 to Addictive Drums?

Hi everyone!

I'm playing around with Cantabile for the first time; I've been looking for a VST host for live performances, and this one looks outstanding.

One thing I can't figure out.. how do you load a drum map? I've got an Alesis DM-6 kit that I've mapped to the right drums in Addictive Drums in cubase; it produced a .drm file. Is there any way to load that in Cantabile?

Alternatively, is there any way to manually map input notes to output notes?

ie. my snare comes in as (let's say) D#2, when the one I want in AD is, say A3.

As far as I know there is no such map feature in Cantabile.

I'd suggest to contact Topten Software to request it - maybe it will be implemented.

Other than that, can't you remap the notes triggered on your controller?

That's what I figured. :( Unfortunately there's no remap feature on my cheap drum set. I wonder if there's a VST midi (re)mapping plug-in.

There are MIDI remapping plugins, I can't remember the name of one, but I made one also.

It's called Ion Buddy, made it for my Ion drumset. Click my sig, go into the MIDI effects folder.

...note mapping would be cool for keyboard notes too, so I vote for a new midi filter in cantabile... :D
