I just tried the latest update candidate for Drumaxx_1.0.1_rc3.dmg and it still does not show in my list of AU plugins within Garageband5.1
I'm on a macbook pro 1.8ghz
Thanks.
Michael
edit: Latest update now shows in GB 5.1 after using MacHelpMate to clean all caches and other maintenance procedures.
No problem anymore with Drumaxx in GB now.

1. delete the file /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Drumaxx.component (and "Drumatrix.component" if it exists)
2. start GarageBand and close it again
3. reinstall Drumaxx

I did as mentioned above.
Still not showing.
I also tried trashing the GB preferences to have it rescan the component folder.
That didn't work either.

I'm afraid I'm not aware of what Garageband works like when scanning plugins, but here Drumaxx shows up.
Do you have any other hosts in which you could try it? For example, a demo version of Ableton Live?

I use it in LiveLite8.0.10.reflex wrote:I'm afraid I'm not aware of what Garageband works like when scanning plugins, but here Drumaxx shows up.

It works.
I tried it in the Reaper demo and it works there as well.
There are others who mentioned it did not show up in Garageband for them as well.
I'am not the only one.
It should be checked out as many more people have GB more than Logic.

Yes, but I'm not sure what there is to check, as it's always worked fine here.mcnoone wrote:There are others who mentioned it did not show up in Garageband for them as well.

I'll see what I can find, though.

Did you ever install a beta version of Drumaxx, btw? Or the 1.0 release version?mcnoone wrote:I'am not the only one.

Shows up in my Garage Band 08' I purchased Drumaxx and DLd the latest version... I deleted the earlier beta version, and reloaded. Rescanned in AU val and it passed. Seems to be working now in Logic 8.0.2 and everything else.

When you say "AU Val", do you mean the AU validation tool in Logic?DHR53 wrote:Shows up in my Garage Band 08' I purchased Drumaxx and DLd the latest version... Yea, well I'm using GB.5.1
The only way I got it to scan was to trash the gb preference file, and it still didn't show up.
I'm also using a macbook pro. Which I believe Reflex said he's on a macbook, which might just be the difference why it's showing up there, but not on mine.

Yep. I don't have the latest GB as I wouldn't upgrade I "whatever" and I'm using a MacBook. 10.5.8 and Logic 8.0.2.

A Macbook versus a Macbook Pro shouldn't make any difference, since they're both running the latest version of OSX, normally.

The latest update Drumaxx_1.0.1_rc3.dmg is still not showing in GB5.1 for me.
I understand the mac osx support with Image Line is probably having a difficult time in incorporating the mac platform for it's plugins, so I'll just be patient about it, and hope things will go better for your company on the mac format in the future.
I still have no problem with it in Live.
Just wanted to inform you of this latest version not showing in GB.
