Ah yes, now it works! It's actually 2 octaves off where it says. Cheers.
I pointed to this issue when Drumaxx was still in beta stage, but people were trying to convince me it's a problem with the host I'm using. Look here: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 36#3944636

Just weird that more and more users have the same issue. Maybe after all it is Drumaxx mapping to the wrong keys :?

"there's no universally followed standard" says it all, doesn't it?

I looked at the beta test forum, and there were very few posts. Seems as though it didn't go through a real beta test, so we're encountering the results--wrong triggering keys, no loading of patterns unless we load a full drumset, cymbals aren't programmed in the presets. That's really bad, I agree. But the sound can be made good. But the acoustic snares and drums are really good. Lets help pull it all together. It's really good where it's good.

As i understand Copy/Paste working only inside single instance of Drumaxx. So i can't copy/paste between two separate instances?

Added: Copy/Paste works! I just rechecked this.

It's not an issue, really. FLStudio has always been a few octaves different than Reaper as far as I know. It's just the Image-Line way, I think. There's no standard, unfortunately. For instance, the MIDI mapper plugin in Reaper is one octave off of the Reaper piano roll- they can't even reach consensus within the company.

Did anyone experience this as well:

Drumaxx forgot where the kits are located as it seems:
I can't skip thru' the drumkits anymore with the arrows, I have
to use the load button besides those arrows to load a different
kit.

:help:

By the way: I experienced the mapping problem as well in Tracktion
and I didnt know either that there is no standard, that's really odd.

I haven't noticed that bug, but sometimes the first pad in the first group gets the wrong key. Happens to me in FL9.

Plain and simply said this synth rocks! I impulse bought it the other day.
Best regards from Johan Brodd.

Do you still using betas? That problem was there.

Hmmm. I've just checked official site and there is still 1.0 version.

Added: just saw 1.01 release candidate.

In my account it's v1.01 ...

I like it but personally one thing that would really raise up the inner value (for me) of this plugin is having arrows on each pad for browsing individual pads sounds.

I mean, once selected into the folder for a sound to assign to a pad(lets say a kick) i actually need to open menu->load->select without auditioning->play the note and see what the sound is for each sound change. This is time expensive for my taste. Having the chance to load automatically next sound in folder with an arrow (or alternatively auto auditioning while browsing) would give a real kick to usability imho.
