Well, I'm on the fence. I have the GB1 stuff. Great sounds. But I have enough drum sounds and kits in general to keep me busy for a long time without anything else. I'm especially interested in the MT kits, though. So if we could hear what the four new ones are with demos, which I assume would be good, I'd likely buy in. I know the SR guys are busy and all, but it would be nice to know what those kits are. Maybe others are in the same boat.

BTW, I found the first Group Buy by total coincidence. Took me forever to read through the forums and material and figure things out. Glad I did, though. I just want to know what those new kits are. (Oh, did I mention that already?)

I was basically in the same boat. Found the GB1 by accident and have not had the time to even scratch the surface but loving it, nonetheless. I did jump into this one a few days ago - #175, I think.

Thanks for the link. Yeah, I've been through the demos a number of times. All are good. A few I find quite appealing. I know it's only $99, but... but... but... oh, I need that incentive to push me over the edge to multi-track bliss. And, yes, I know there are other good things to come as well. Squids doesn't disappoint.

Squids, are you using reverse psychology? Ignore these customers and they'll eventually cave? Hmm, I'm a tough bugger. Still holding on, but... not... sure... how... much...... longer....

We seem to be stuck at 293! I don't what up with that, but maybe the west coasters or the downunders will pull us through.

Not sure about the downunders. Most evenings when I look, the numbers don't move very much...the forum is pretty dead as well. I'm thinking there might not be many downunderers in the group buys (at least from a statistical proportion perspective).

Maybe Squids could enlighten us, when he has some time for compiling some trivia, with some stats on how many purchasers are from different parts of the world?

Nice one DarkStar...some statistics to keep me sane while waiting for some stats from Squids or the drums to become available (which will distract me from my facination with numbers)....

Shame to see the signups dropping off so close to 300...what is wrong with people...don't they know what they are missing The draw for the swag is an awesome incentive to get in now (if you were going to get in at all).

Hey I know this probably isn't the right forum for this question, but we've got our eyes glued here, so..

Was there a patch update on group buy 1 that fixed the steve gadd snare so that it can be routed to the snare group?

In the ungaddly hybrid kit I can set the snare to the snare output but when I trigger the snare it comes through the kick out.

Anyone know what's up there?

Still at 293! I've watched these GBs for a good while (I know, no life), and I've noticed that the numbers ebb and flow. Squids will come on and say something or offer something and the numbers jump. Then, some people just wait. Sometimes the weekend is busy, and sometimes not. But the numbers will start moving again, and I'd expect to see a couple of hundred more people sign up. Just my guess.

"Cassette." That's a word you don't hear much anymore. I have a box full of them. Some still blank and ready for recording! Maybe they'll sell on ebay as antiques.
