Great suggestions, folks! Keep 'em coming. I was going to suggest Bad Cat myself, too. A band I'm friendly with just switched over this past year and I have to admit they are amazing-sounding, and it wasn't like they were using some terrible amps before.

You know what I'd really like to see. Maybe put the guitar-amp sims aside for a little while and use your experience modeling vintage gear to do a synth vsti. Now that would be something.

Peter, add the Boss AC-2 Acoustic Simulator to the list.
There's also an AC-3 which is even more convincing, but it uses COSM.
If IK could develop something similar to that it would be really awesome, but probay too much of an undertaking.

Yeah, I envision any acoustic modeler that IK does to be a house blend.
Perhaps heavily informed by the AC-2 or inspired by the AC-3, but not necessarily a carbon copy of either, sort of like the Swell effect.
I'd like to see the list you've compiled so far.

Everything from this thread, except Echoplex, Mutron III, and no chorus pedals.redshift factor wrote:I'd like to see the list you've compiled so far.

Hi,
I'd like to have more bass amps --
Eden WT-500/800 + D410XLT or D210XLT.
Bass amp heads like walterwoods (their EQ control is really great), SWR readhead, Aguilar pres... they're all nice to have's for me. (and actually I do have Eden head + cabs..)

Nice choices! Some were already there, but great to see some new ideas and also bass-related.bassman63 wrote:Hi,

If IK wants the AmpliTube 3 threads to heat up again, they need to release some of these new models we're talking about, starting with a Hiwatt and CE-2!hibidy wrote:I miss the old days when these threads were so lively

Hiwatt - a must have head for me as I played a few in my younger days.redshift factor wrote:If IK wants the AmpliTube 3 threads to heat up again, they need to release some of these new models we're talking about, starting with a Hiwatt and CE-2!hibidy wrote:I miss the old days when these threads were so lively

Both the 50 and 100 watt versions. Would be nice to have one back

I suspect it will be the Custom Hiwatt 100. But I'd love to have a 50w switch on it, even if that isn't 100% accurate.

Now this is more like it.
Oh, I know about the desire for new models/goodies and such.....but I haven't even had time to go through everything
I feel guilty about staying on a certain sound too long

I had suggested before that the guitar plug should be movable from the NORMAL to the BRIGHT inputs on the Fender Bassman '59, but it has not been done so far. I hope IK does this for the Hiwatt at least, though. And it would be especially cool if they made the two channels bridgeable with a modular cable, like some modular VSTis such as Arturia Moog Modular, KORG MS20, and u-he ACE.
