Is mu.lab compatible with multi-channel plug-ins ?
for example antares harmony efx vst is a multi-channel plug-in that only works properly when the software has multiple outputs of sounds.
thanks,

Yes MU.LAB can handle multi-out VST plugins.
In MU.LAB 3 there are 2 different ways to do it:
1) Within a rack:
Plugin a MUX in the rack and plugin the multi-out VST within that MUX, then do all submixing within that MUX.
2) In the Modular Area:
Simply plugin the multi-out VST in the modular area and you'll see all audio outputs there, which you can connect to any other plugins you want
I think it will depend on the situation which way fits best.

How do you connect it so that your vst synth takes regular midi input and passes the audio through like normal?
Once you have your multi-out vst inside of MUX, do you connect the event input to the input of the vsti and then the output of the vsti to the audio output?

I'm not sure if i understand the question. Maybe it helps if you say what you want to do.PaulG wrote:How do you connect it so that your vst synth takes regular midi input and passes the audio through like normal?
Yes, that's a standard way doing things. Maybe this also answers your other question, i'm not sure.Once you have your multi-out vst inside of MUX, do you connect the event input to the input of the vsti and then the output of the vsti to the audio output?

Hi Paul. The most common answer to "How do I...?" is "Right-click...". MU.LAB works on the basis that the "thing" you're working on should provide the tools you need to work with it and they're on the context menu.PaulG wrote:How do you ... I'm a new user...
