Hello, can someone show me how I can replicate this kick http://fabtechsolutions.com/tmp/BD2.wav with RMV?
Basically instead of the typical BOOM i want a more open BAAM sound from the BD kick. Can someone explain how can this be accomplished with the RMV Drum synths?
-Thanks

I'm no sound designer ...however

this one lacks the brilliance of your WAv sample, but it might be the
right direction. I also used EQ and Compressor to get nearer, Varizer
is not really required for the sound itself.
Here's the patch (use "import pad" to load it)

Hi Peter, I just recently bought a Mackie C4 and I cant seem to get it to work with the plug. Is there any way to get it to load a basic setup instead of having to "learn" CCs? The thing is that the C4 loads from logic what ever is used by the plug and there is no easy way of getting the C4 to send specific CCs.

With the large amount of hundreds of controls on the RMV, there cannot be any useful preset, Fabricom, I'm sorry. We dont have the C4, but I'm sure there is a way to set up just a set of CC#s in ascending order, it would be the first controller without this very basic feature.

The thing is the C4 works with SySEx there is a middle man software that translates SySEx to CC but like I said not an easy task. Will see what I can do. About the hundreds of settings in the plug that is not a problem the C4 can handle it. I already have quite a few plugs that have lots of parameters. For example Waldorf Attack has about 72 pages with 32 parameters each.Peter from LinPlug wrote:With the large amount of hundreds of controls on the RMV, there cannot be any useful preset, Fabricom, I'm sorry.
