As long as they still did not made true their promises, it looks insulting to me.koolkeys wrote:..., it starts with an apology. Nothing insulting about that, right?
I mean at the moment they still showed no real doings. All they do is throwing out some free copies. This is nothing, which shows a progress. I was talking about the promised updates.
If Crysonic is really here to make it better now, I'm sorry for the negative comments. But at this moment, they simply have not shown yet, that they are serious ... they just made a new promise and use a bait, so that people eat it.

Agreed - We have every reason to be skeptical!Nokenoku wrote:As long as they still did not made true their promises, it looks insulting to me.koolkeys wrote:..., it starts with an apology. Nothing insulting about that, right?

Will Crysonic actually take a new route, having full customer support, we have to wait and see and it'll be a slow process.
Will there be customers support both today, tomorrow, next week, in two months, one year etc. - time will show.
Today we don't know anything! We can hope or just forget about Crysonic until they proved [in a year or two] that they really did change....

Let's see if Crysonic can reveal the fresh air for us, that would be terrific!
This is not a discussion about the world, but just plain and simple about Crysonic... a company that hopefully is on it's way in a new and better direction.

I got the free plugin(nXtasy)fine. It's pretty nice too, seems stable and feels "light", unlike their Synthedit-plugs.
Buy Darling Sister's new album "Rise and fall" now! Just send a pm or an email. Visit our myspace page on www.myspace.com/darlingsister for songsamples.

My free Spectralive is in d/ling now, thanks!
I remember when I 1st realized vst's existed, I was on a 633 mhz Pentium3 with 64 MB ram, and the old Crysonics didn't work, it was cpu overload.
Nowadays I have a cheap dual core computer, and the non-SE stuff runs light.

This is quoted from the original post. The deal is not for previous customers only and of course it's damage control.
Do you know how many business promises are broken every day? I am glad at least in some way people have a chance of getting something back, most of the time you don't get something back, hell you don't even get an apology. Personally, I never buy something with the promise that the feature I want will be added... soon(TM) because I know there are high chances it will not. Buy it for what it offers now, if it doesn't offer what you want wait until it's there then buy it.Compyfox wrote:It still looks like the old "promise" doesn't count, but the new deal only.

I don't have a history with Crysonic prior to the group buy and, my experience so far has been good. My plug-ins were delivered fast, install was easy, they have been stable and they work. I am happy with my purchase.
I think it's great they publicly apologized and said hey, we are gonna make a course correction. Here's a free plug-in for former customers who want to give us a chance to prove ourselves again and also here's a reward for those that are sticking with us.
It's up to them to sink or swim on their own merit now. So let's let them do it.

Seriously though you make good points. Especially, about buy on today's features not the hope of tomorrow's.

If you really don't want to let this go and want to continue to find fault regardless of what they say or do, then perhaps the issue is no longer with them but with you. Some will agree with you on this, but many will not because life is too short to spend so much effort trying to keep negative feelings alive. Just saying you might seriously consider trying to recognize the positive value of their efforts. They can't change the past anymore than you can.Compyfox wrote:I thought the deal was for "previous" customers only. So it is indeed "damadge control" and IMO yet more fishing for users.

I'm not a Crysonic customer, but after following this thread, I downloaded, and tested many of their offerings...
I have to admit, that not one of them left me with anything other than disappointment.
I for one, would not consider another FREE useless plugin, to make up for the useless plugin I purchased previously, (metaphorically speaking).
Best of luck Crysonic, but random A B C D E F etc, equalizers, I can do without...
