there are i-map charts in the pages for the individual kits, but I'm not 100% they are the same as the extended i-map in these DM2 kits. It was also posted in the War and Peace length thread for the first GB..

I think you need to add an "e" to "not".

I have to admit, I've lost track now, too. If someone joins right now at 334, do they get two or three multi-track kits?tdm71 wrote:What are the extras for reaching 300?

They get either three multitrack kits or 2 Multitrack kits and an Infinite Player if they don't already have Infinite Player.drummer1 wrote:I have to admit, I've lost track now, too. If we hit 400 then you can get 4 MT kits (or 3 + IP).
If we can hit 500 then not only will you get 5 but we're going to add some crazy bonuses on top of that too! Just remember there is ONLY less than 2 weeks left to all of this and there will be no extension! So this is it. Join now and pick up the first bundle too if you don't already have it! (I am speaking to anyone reading).

300+ people have already joined the Group Buy. It means that the lowest price trier has been reached. $99 is the current price. However, there are some extras to be earned. Next target level is 300.

i think the most extended one is the one implemented for the GB kits.
i have an excel spreadsheet with actual note numbers; the names don't match the last picture (I got it off a different picture that Squids posted in one of the massive GB threads) but they are effectively the same thing (i.e. tom 1 alt instead of tom slot 1 extra). I copied & pasted from that into here. The picture only shows note numbers for the C notes, so this still might be helpful.

I have a complete, extended, imap drm file that works with Cubase. I do not know if it is the same format for use in other DAWs or not. If there is interest I will send or post a link for download later today.jarrydee wrote:A list, ya know..kick on b-2, Rim shot on c#. Sorry I did not explain it better!! A technical question about how the MT kits function.
Is there a pool of room samples (for each of the kit pieces) that play back in tandem with the main note? ie when I trigger a snare note, does it simultaneously play back the snare room sample through the Room channel in the Kontakt mixer? To my understanding, since it's not an effect (like a reverb that is responding to incoming audio whatever it may be) there must be unique samples for each kit piece that have been recorded through the room mic?
Would there be a way to have the room ambience controllable for each kit piece if for some reason you wanted the snare to sound 'roomier' than the toms, for example? In other words a different routing\handling of the "room sample pool". I'm not asking for this feature but rather clarifying if I get the concept.
If I am correct, does the same theory apply to the sub-kick channel?
Also (if I am correct) how would this affect the sound if you swap different MT pieces around? ie would the room sample be a sample of a different drum?
Just curious about the process.
Thanks

Each Kit piece has it's own dedicated Voliume Control for the different perspectives, so e.g. the snare has a Volume Control for Room and one for Overheads - and yes these are seperate samples triggered together with the main sample.Chester Desmond wrote:A technical question about how the MT kits function.

If you open an MT kit piece, switch to the Volume pane (default pane that comes up is Mapping). You will see a few knobs (anywhere from 4 to 7 from what I saw), with which you can control the volume of each mic for just that kit piece. And if you hit a kick (for instance), which shows up in 7 different mics, you'll see kontakt plays 7 voices. So they'll have to say for sure, but it sounds like it already works the way you are talking, and it sounds that way too when you play it...

Thanks guys.. I keep forgetting about all the different pages of options in these kits and have just been using the mixer for levels. More fun awaits!!
