After the good feedback about the little guess-the-synth topic with the d-cam factory-addon comes here now a new challenge, which is more difficult and with better prizes. :wink:


The rules:
- it must be the full name of the synth(developer + synth)
- everyone has only one try
- the first called synthname of you will be counted
- the challenge runs till wednesday - 24th march 20:00(GMT +1)


The infos:
- the mp3 contains 10 different sounds(athmo, bass, lead, pad, pluck)
- it's a comercial synth
- additional reverb on the track(with a no colouring setting)
- on the output are: compressor, limiter
- both output-effects working with a very decent and transparent settings(max 3 db attention)


The prizes:
1st prize - 1 NFR of KV331 Synthmaster 2.0
2nd prize - 1 free soundset of CFA-Sound of your choice
3rd prize - 1 voucher(50%) for a soundset of your choice

The first 3 kvr-user who guess the right synth get the prizes. If till sunday 20:00 no one have guess the right synth, the challenge will be extended, also if only 2 guess it right and the 3rd prize is still open.

I forget to erase this line, during copy from the source txt-file.

changes/re-edit would be a real chaos later. And so have no everyone only 1 try(fair for all - better than as someone "steel" a answer and re-edit his own post) - so consider your answers good :wink:

How in your topic sayed, usally this topic should be some weeks ago, but the time was steeled by other projects, which are much more important.
Play without prizes? Hm right now i remember, you already have the synthmaster 2(factory design). So than play without prizes - i am excitedly what you will guess :wink:

Hello Martin, it may be stupid or too obvious but my guess is KV331 Audio Synthmaster 2.0 (or 2.1 ??, not officially released...).

Note: If i should win the Synthmaster 2.0 license i would like to get a soundset or a voucher instead since i have the full Synthmaster 2.0 since a looong time...

No answer is stupid, it's ALL possibile! :wink:
And under some aspects of the sound in the demo, i personally would also say synthmaster 2.0 - really

Btw YOU have still a 50% voucher from the d-cam thread, if you remember :D
And if your guess will be right, it's no prob to switch the first prize, for example 2 soundsets, a bundle or soundset + samplepack. That will be no prob - IF your guess will be right :wink:


Little offtopic, about synthmaster 2.1 - there i can only say the 2.1 update will be hot, extremly hot! New outstanding filters, mod-matrix, reverb completly new, Bulent have build there a real monster(specially for this nobrainer price) and he still improve the sm2... So what will be in there in version 3.0? :P

Yeah same choice than Ingo there, but merely because of the first price .... :wink:

Btw if its this one there's a reverb on board on SM2, but for a reason or another, it broke the stereo field when I was designing instruments for it.

Hopefully this would have been fixed. I asked Bulent many times to try to fix that. Omg if only I could have used another reverb for the presets and demos :shrug:

I thought briefly of Ace too.

Might be another synth I dont know or that I have very few experience with as well :)

Edit : Just saw your answer for the reverb.

Hello Martin,

i just used my old voucher to buy the ACE bundle.

The only problem i had is that o "only" have a freemail address (even if it's Web.de Club, the payed service of web.de) so at Digital River i had to use bank transfer instead of my usual PayPal or credit card payment.

btw i do love this soundset, any willing to do something for Audjoo Helix? It's a great synth with great capabilities, but it's not covered well like the others, imho
