What's happening in this pre-chorus?

Chords, scales, harmony, melody, etc.

Hello folks,

I'm trying to figure out the relationship between the verse and the pre-chorus in this song ().

(what is triggering the particular feeling that I get when the pre-chorus kicks in (happy-sad transition))

The chords are (I'm a harmony newbie, please point out the mistakes):

Verse:

| Ebmaj7 Dsomething | C-7 C-7/F | Bbmaj7 |
| Ebmaj7 | D-7 G | C-7 C-7/F | Bbsomething |

Pre-chorus:

| G- G-/F | Ebmaj7 Eb6 | D-7 | Gsomething Fsomething |
| G-/E Eb | D-7 G | C-7 D-7 | Ebsomething Fsomething |

Chorus: (just the bass... haven't figured out the chords)

| Bb A | Eb D | G F | Eb F |
| Bb A | G Gb | G E | C F... Bb |

So I guess:
-the verse is in Ebmaj,
-the chorus is in Bbmaj.

But then what's tonality of the pre-chorus?!?!

Thanks for your help.

I listened to this briefly. I kind of felt like the whole song was in Bb and that the pre-chorus was in G minor (the relative minor of Bb). It pretty much stays in one key. I like the sound of the Abm6/Eb at the end of the chorus. I have done this many times myself when composing ballads. Billy Joel was the first guy I heard play this sound in "I Love You Just The Way You Are."

I don't read Korean, but this artist is named Tae Yeon. Not sure of the title of the song but I searched the web and you can find sheet music for her songs out there. I found some stuff of hers at pianofiles.com but I didn't want to join just to download the sheet music.

Do you mind indicating where the Abm6/Eb is?

Like, "8th bar, on the 3rd beat"...

Because I don't hear any Eb as bass at the end of the chorus...

Arrgh! You're making me listen to this song again just to correct my mistake. The sound I am talking about first occurs at 1:35. The correct chord change is Ebm6/Bb to Bb. Still the same sound. I just put it in the wrong key.
Drugs and alcohol have never helped me creatively, but for others it seems to be an essential part of the process.
