Whatever... I'll definitely have an eye on this - I'm curious how it'll turn out. So far, I've also read negative critism in here. So I wasn't the only one since this thread originated.
It's a long hard way to go after all.

Some people would rather stand on the roof and stare at us rather than come down and have a cold beer with us.

No doubt. Folks getting 3 decent plugs for 20 bucks will be starting out on the right foot with this lot, though. It's up to Crysonic to keep impressing the new base I guess.Compyfox wrote:And/or a quick new customer base...Patchey wrote:It probably is creating goodwill though.Compyfox wrote:It's not bother, it's disbelief. I've contacted them twice in the last 3 days, but haven't heard anything yet...Cognition wrote:I got a free license for Spectralive Nxt V3.5 shortly after contacting support. Handling of my request was fast and efficient.

Ya know, how somebody can see giving out FREE plugs as "not goodwill" is just way beyond me. Some people will find the negative in anything when they dislike a company so much. I mean, to some people, there will ALWAYS be alternative motives, and every move will have an agenda. But who cares? So what if they want to build a customer base while mending fences with the previous and current base? Why is it such a negativity magnet for some people?
Crysonic could have come in and gave an apology, said "we're going to do better" and walked away. Then some people would complain that there was nothing free. They give something for free, and somebody has a problem with the fact that new customers are getting something free and FORMER(not even current) customers aren't getting some kind of special treatment.
You just never can please everyone, and in this case, I would put my money on some people literally never being happy with what happens.
Really, I'm happy for Crysonic and for those who have gotten their free plugs. Good for them. Other than that, I've said all that I felt necessary to say. Have a great Saturday ya'll!

See, and it is way beyond me why you critisize people who think that way, and even smack further into the notch.koolkeys wrote:Ya know, how somebody can see giving out FREE plugs as "not goodwill" is just way beyond me. >snip yaddayadda<
There went just too much wrong for some people in here to really (and by that, I mean "really") believe it's happening what Crysonic was saying. See, to me it's still "Damadge Control" and "fishing for more users" with the freebie. Good, this might be just the thing to grow on a userbase again. But to those who were turned off by earlier events, it still takes a lot to grow back the trust.
This is all I'm saying and I will stick to it - like it or not.
Final word from me on this issue!
*seriously now - I'm tired of constantly defending my point*
And like me, you do that for several pages now. Isn't that tiresome? Do you really need to "defent" that firm?koolkeys wrote: Other than that, I've said all that I felt necessary to say. Have a great Saturday ya'll!
Great Saturday to you as well.
