I am looking for the best software for live looping. I have read about SooperLooper for MAC and Mobius for PC (doesn't work in VISTA/Win7). I wonder if there are other great programs for easy looping. I am looking for the most convenient and non-intrusive looper that doesn't distort the creative flow and blablabla.

Thx - Troels

GLoop from GVST is the one that floats my boat - does it's job with minimum of intrusion - a software Jamman if you will. (FWIW I also have a Jamman, but I use Gloop more)

I just tried demo of live machine, which seemed cool. But crashed my computer several times (win 7 / cubase 32 and 64 - tried on both).

Sorry for this, i will release an updated Demo today, perhaps the crashes will be gone then. Thanks for testing it! :)

Hi Sonic,

Thanks for the update, but it still crashes my systems badly. I tested both in 32 and 64 bit environments and it crashes my computer (8core / 32gb / win7) so badly that everything freezes and I have to restart. I love the application, but you might wanna consider native 64 bit drivers, since its pretty useless in 64 bit at this point. But again ... friggin LOVE the app!

Thanks for letting me know!

That's bad - do you have any other host at hand for testing it there temporary? Just curious. Guess i have to do some complete rewrites or something... it's really weird :)

Anyone know of a decent MIDI-only looper in AU format for OSX?

Don't know what you want a looper for. If it's for dance music this could be an option: http://www.ntsaudio.com/index.php?optio ... 1&Itemid=2.

Unfortunately doesn't seem to have a demo. PC only.
Eventually something intelligent will appear written here. Watch this space.
