to add to what squids said: I got that in the first GB. I don't think the DVD extra were available for download by default, but I asked allen at esoundz, and he threw them up for me so I could download while waiting for the DVD to ship. They'll take care of you.Any chance of a link to the upgrade material as a download (have looked but I couldn't find it). I'm looking at buying the main product for $99, and I'd also like the extra material on this dvd: http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=4166
If I can get it as a download, that would be great.

I'm a little confused with all the kits mentioned.
So in the group buy we for example get
Danny Gottlieb STm Kit
and we can choose other multitrack kits from DM2 which as I see also has
Danny Gottlieb Kit (stick, brushes, hot rods)
so this is a different set or?
Sorry am just confused with all the info

esoundz name: jdavies
as per Squids in the Sonic Reality Forum:
"Here's another coupon. This gets you $25 off the DVD option of the FIRST Ulimate Studio Drums Bundle 1 if you have purchased both Ultimate Studio Drums Bundle 1 and 2 (either Group Buy or Paypal versions of either).
The coupon code is USDVD2UP
and it can be used on this: http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=4166
Remember that the DVD option for the Bundle II Sequel is FREE, but the DVD option for the Bundle I is not free however it is normally $50 and with the above coupon it is only $25 (as long as you have the two pre-requisite product purchases - Bundle 1 & 2). Hope that helps! Remember, that means not only do you get the DVD option for Bundle 1 and 2 but you save by having them ship at the same time AND you get 4 Multitrack kits + a Jazz STm kit... not too bad for $25 plus shipping! It expires at the end of March though so you have to use it by then."
I too am waiting for the availability of the GB II DVD. Allen said it should be available by the end of the month.

Each Stm kit is just one of the infinite mixes you can achieve with one of the multitrack kits so yes, they are basically the same drum kit but they are also very different.Lux Delux wrote:I'm a little confused with all the kits mentioned.

The Stm kits are great because they are professional mixes of the best drums in the world and also come with separate channels for every single piece of the kit: one channel for the bass drum, one for the snare, etc. So you can obtain great results quickly and still got a lot of flexibility while mixing, applying different levels and effects (both inside or outside Kontakt or Kontakt player) to evey single element in the kit.
On the other hand, the multitrack kits come with a channel for every mic so you can adjust the ambience (not only the volume) of every element separately, from dry to wet and everything in between, so the control you have over the drums is mindblowing!. You can obtain a lot of different drum sounds from just one kit, and it's really fun too. After the first group buy some people just couldn't believe that some of the STm kit were actually the same drums than their respective Multitrack kits. All the effects, ambience, envelopes, etc that you can apply on this drums let you obtain whatever you want, so they are really a big deal and a lot more than a simply "bonus".
