Guys,

Are 64 examples appropriate for live performance in cantible? I mean from experience

Do you mean the ASIO buffer? If so, 64 is all right, unless such a low setting crackles your audio. Buffer of 64 yields an unnoticeable small latency.

I have learned to use 256 samples, mostly because the slight extra latency introduced feels more natural to a piano player. A grand piano in good adjustment has a small mechanical latency which seems to be approximated by the 256 setting.

You can tell during rehearsal and practice whether you're doing all right. Observe the Load Meter percentage. If it goes very high, you might want to increase buffer setting a little to prevent potential trouble. Cantabile makes it quick to change the buffer, so experimentation is easy.

64 sample buffer is excellent for a ASIO based pc setup - at least it is for keyboard players. I myself usually set up 128 samples whenever possible.

As a guitar player note that you have in and out, which ends up in latency of at least 2x 64 samples - i.e. double the value you set up.

If you are sensitive you will start feeling a delay from 256 samples on and for sure you will with 512 samples. You have to check out the macimum you can deal with.

Finally keep in mind that lower buffer settings will increase cpu load, so do only set as low as you need.

[Edit] That said, in case, try first to increase Cantabile's "additional buffers" feature in the audio settings before increasing the ASIO buffer itself.
