So, I was in the Apple store today, trying out an iphone, and thought I'd check out KVR.
"What! I love AudioMulch 2" I thought as I read through a thread.
"Well, I just have to make a post right now!" I decided.
So I tried to sign in, but everytime I went to put in my password, the phone refused to let me type!
So I'm asking, especially to all you iphone users, - did you run in to this problem? If so, how did you get around it?
I'm kind of thinking about getting an iphone, but hey! if it won't let me do any KVR'n, I don't know!

half serious,
allofdrab.

I've never had a problem logging into KVR on my iPhone, except when I was banned.

i have KvR'd on my ipod touch from time to time, but the safari browser does seem rather buggy to me. maybe its the sites i go to, but it seems to crash somewhat regularly for me, particularly when using multiple browser windows (even when i have plenty of memory free)

in fact the whole OS can seem wonky at times... today, walking to the bus stop, i found myself unable to skip tracks or use the scrub thingie to move through a song... but then after 5-10 minutes it was back to normal. this has only happened twice, but that's two times too many in my opinion.

also i have a couple podcast episodes that i am entirely unable to delete from my ipod... they don't show up in itunes, and are just sitting there taking up a couple hundred MB.

all that aside, i love this device. i regularly do live improv-sets at parties and in car rides with BeatMaker, and also use it as a drum machine on stage sometimes, and it has never failed me in that regard.

Huh, interesting, maybe it was a glitch on that iphone or something, I'll try it on another one sometime.

Never had any login probs whatsoever. Using my iPhone on KVR very often, in fact this reply is written with my iPhone. Only complaint I have is the lack of KVR in a phone version. :-)

See, that's what I was thinking.
I mean, if I can blow though an entire night browsing the forum, my 3 hrs a day of bus trippin and KVR'n should be a breeze.

me wants a KVR app!

It's even more handy for times like now when the train is stuck at a faulty level crossing!

I don't own an iPhone, but I browse on my smartphone too and KvR is with me in pubs, restaurants and cafes. Kinda sad, if you think about it. :hihi:

well, member #950, i imagine there's probably a certain level of decorum one must uphold when blessed with the honor of a custom avatar. :D

Indeed there is :D

(I wouldn't call it decorum browsing KvR in the toilet, but anyway... :hihi: )

I find KvR very difficult to browse using my iPhone. Too many links too close together makes it hard to scroll without touching something and accidentally opening a link. Also too much use of mouse over dependent links which are hard to make work using a touchscreen. Many forums are accessible using dedicated forum apps like Tapatalk these days - works much better for iPhone.

Forget KVR; you need the iphone for iShred.
