Yeah it's all prepared. They are too large for download but these DVD versions will go on temporary pre-release sale any day... shooting for tomorrow. It's pretty darn close!

They play so nice on my Alesis usb pro kit!!

Have you tried the Roland TD-9 or TD-4 with mesh pads and/or rubber pads? I'm wondering how V-drums compare with your Alesis kit (in your opinion) in terms of feel and response. Could you give any feedback

oh snap, this ends today the 30th! I was going to mull it over until tomorrow. Now, I've really got to put my head into it!

Anyone, I understand the Sequel comes with midi grooves, but are they by the players of the named kits? ie JB kit- midi grooves by JB, Buford kit- midi grooves by Buford. I'd sure like to have the kit and the player grooves too! Or are the suppled midi grooves not by the signature players? In the words of Capt Picard - Make it so.

Hey, Squids -- I don't seem to be able to resist this GB any longer, even though I've already got wayyyy too much drum-related software.

As a matter of fact, I'd like to get a second set for my son-in-law as a gift.

I did this recently with Drumaxx, and it worked out when I created a separate account for him at IL, using his email address as the contact point, then bought in that account's name, while still hitting my own PayPal account for the charge.

Will y'all have a problem with me doing it the same way for this?

Incidentally, guys -- even though you've already got in on the GB for yourself, I do think it'll make a fantastic gift for loved ones and friends who make music. Hint, hint, hint...

Joined #491. I'm a sample junkie loving quality sounds on a deal -- great bang for the buck. I really appreciate the custom mapping option for my own keyboard drumming layout.

The included midi grooves are not from the drummers. 1,000 are from Groove Monkee (makers of GM, iMap and other format grooves - very good stuff!) and then over 100 midi grooves from me finger drumming with iMap like a madman.

We do have midi sessions in the works from Bill Bruford, John Blackwell, Danny Gottlieb and others such as Cobham, Bozzio... that's coming later. Some free though for owners of Drum Masters 2 (and this Group Buy qualifies for that since it has Drum Masters material in it!).

By the way, you have until Friday at 5pm Florida time. We extended it so you can still mull it over no worries. Just don't miss it though! We can't extend it beyond that. Has to end some time!

It is so nice to see posts like this. I wonder if you all know what it means to us when we hear you say things like that... just your appreciation of the products and effort to spread the word is something we're very grateful for. I think it is cool to be able to see that from a company's perspective. Makes it worthwhile. I really mean that. Its inspiring.

By the way, the midi session we did with John Blackwell was incredible. It is just going to be a lot of work going through it is all. Also some of the triggered stuff from Cobham and Peart... a lot of mistriggers to clean up and all that but once that is done there is going to be some seriously good iMap midi files to be had.
