Change the output level reading to DB

I suggest changing the output level readings in Crossfade Looper and Minky Starshine to dB. The arbitrary 1.00 to 2.00 reading means nothing in the mix.
What say you?
Thanks!

It's not arbitrary - it's a multiplier, albeit raised to a power of 3. So 1.0 is 0db, 2.0 is 8x gain, so about 18dB.
The trouble with changing it is that it messes up everyone's existing presets.

Really? I don't understand why that would be, but if you say so...
What about a preference option to set it either way?

I realise I'm answering a question with a question, but why don't you adjust the volume using your DAW's channel fader?

Because on some patches I need more than 6dB of gain.
It's just my preference, I think and hear in dB.
Don't worry, I'll just go the extra step and use a gain plug-in.
Love all your instruments and effects BTW. I use at least one
in every production I do.
Best,
Robert

After all that - I realised that I can of course *display* the volume in dB even if that's not the value used to control the parameter. I've just added this to Minky Starshine v2, currently in development.

Noted, though it might be a while until Crossfade Loop Synth bubbles up to the top of the pile for a revamp.
