I think Squids said he his goal was later today. But here on the east cost of the US, there are still 11 hours laft in today!

The group buy ends Friday, April 2, at 5pm Florida (east coast)time.

400+ people have already joined the Group Buy. It means that the lowest price trier has been reached. $99 is the current price. However, there are some extras to be earned. Next target level is 500.

Global Patch Update #3 is up.
cool....what hi-hat tweaks though ???
No sure about the tweaks.
I'm also not sure if we have to delete the INSTRUMENTS folder before installing the Global Patch #3. I know we had to for Global Patch #2.

I just installed it without removing anything, works just like it did before it, but then again I did not see a problem before!!

Yeah... hopefully a new "Final Patch instructions for the Ultimate Studio Drums group Buy" note will be put in our members area with some details.

I'm not sure I ever got around to installing the Global Patch #2 update. Would I need to do #2 and then #3, or will Global Patch #3 cover all the changes in previous patches?

For the tight dry 70's drum sounds you can do it a bit with current Drum Masters but actually EpiK DrumS has much more of that. Listen to these:

and

oh I took down the Elton John style kit demo I did... hmmm, that had a sort of Mick Fleetwood sound too it.

Anyway, yes with the Multitrack kits of Drum Masters and EpiK you can get more and more these types of sounds. But it is also about the way the drum itself is dampened. We have a bunch of sounds that are coming that have more of this variety - I like it too.

By the way, the Group Buy stopped last night but we turned it back on and all the orders since are updated. You're way past 500 don't worry. So FIVE Multitrack kits for free, 150 impulse responses... the works!!!!! We're still preparing the product for download though and the trick is we have to wait until Friday for the Multitrack kits part since we don't know how many (could be 6 free ones if you hit 600). So that means the people who need the Infinite Player have to wait for the Infinite Player but... we might be able to get around that by having you request it from Allen. I will keep you posted.

In any case, the main Group Buy sounds should be available to download this evening! Looking good so far. We've been cranking around the clock to make it happen. :D Enjoy!!!!

The LATEST Global Patch Update is all you need. You can skip the previous ones as it is inclusive and has the latest Inst and Multi patches of the whole thing.

A note will be put into the user area and an email is going out now letting people know it is there. The only thing done in it is the V-Drum hi hats updated and the Gadd Snare re-routed. Maybe a few other minor tweaks and that's it. Mostly for e-Drummer's benefit.

You don't have to delete anything. Just drag and drop it onto the Infinite Library Installer and it will update. Simple.

the first GB patch threw in a whole bunch of extra instruments with names like __name. The second GB patch (and the third, as far as I can tell) include every patch though, so the quickest way to get rid of those extra ones is to blitz the whole instruments/multis directory (everything IN those directories, not the directories themselves) and then install the new patch, which will put everything back.

That was the only reason to delete those directories before patch 2, and it wasn't necessary, just convenient.

hmmmm...the second one is closer.....how much for just that kit ???? is it even possible to get it 'a la fart'

i was really hoping for that kinda thing to be covered already...if i have to buy even more drums to get what i'm after , the NI set is starting to look attractive as it's exactly what i'm after
