let's see if it will even be 'a la farte' and what the price will be
I'm guessing that the price may be either a $100 or $150, since each of the other EpiK DrumS titles are going for $150. But those ones are 20GB each, and I am not sure if the Ringo kit is that big or not. I would assume that it is quite a bit smaller and maybe the price will be a bit less.

Don't worry... I have a feeling Squids will make us an offer soon enough.

Which ones did you want to compare?

Yeah it's tight, but it wouldn't work nearly as effectively because it has that ring in it. Good for some things though.

The only ring I want in my snare is Ringo! :D
true

p.s...here is a sample from my latest project with a kit from gb1...kinda....NDV gretsch all mic and ambience zero'd....snare replaced with OWD10dry....track doubled with compression, reverb , delay

will be remixed again soon, cuz it's all too trebly , but i really like the kit

i just need to get my hands on the ringo vs the abbey road stuff...if i had them linked up to my keyboard, i'd know in about 60 seconds.....

the NI kits are 7 gig each, so aren't gonna be shy in the articulation/velocity department....99 euros also...the problem is, i wouldn't be able to get that for a couple of months (and it will still be available)....i'm afraid i might not be able to afford any offer at the moment....unless, of course, everybody refers the ebow

Bump @ 539! :) Perhaps we can do 600?

PS: Love Squids' idea of hybrid kits!

Nice piece! I think your custom kit suits the song quite well.

Yeah, but... the Abbey Road kit only has one articulation (one note only) for the Tea Towel Snare, whereas the Squids version will have a whole bunch of articulations spread out for each snare note in the iMap configuration. I would expect that Downbeat Kit will be a more versatile instrument for recording realistic drum tracks using that require snare drum sound.

Hey guys, in my download area I can see there's already Infinite Player and it's library installer listed.

So this is just the installer and the serial will be provided as an option when the group buy ends right?

Me so lame-oh

Yep. They've got lots of snare articulations: Snare Center L/R, Center L, Center R, Halfway L/R, Halfway L, Halfway R, Rim Only, Wires Off, Roll, Rimshot, Flam, Sidestick...

...but only one Tea Towel Snare (and it's the best sounding snare in the whole collection).

This EpiK DrumS Downbeat Kit will have all those articulations done with the Tea Towel Snare, I believe.

If we already have Infinite Player do we also skip the Infinite Player Library Installers file?
I can't find the 1,000 Midi Grooves.
Thanks,
