2busdriver - good work on that list. Could you please add the kits which were the optional multitrack kits for USD1. These names and the sizes would help avoid people picking the same options again. I think the fact that we had STM kits AND multitrack versions of the same kits is feeding the confusion.

Hi, I just made my selection of bonus kits and adds the Infinite Player (I'm a newbie). But where do I get the serial code to authorise the player? Any hints, guys?

Hi, Mattiiiiii
Sadly not. I've got the serial from a previous GB there (T-Racks) but nothing for the infinite player.
Another problem - I just tried to instal the IP and there's an error in installation. It won't instal. I've already got Kontakt Player 4 - would that be causing the problem? It's all going wrong for me! If ANYONE can help, I'd be so grateful
Allen? Squids?

Just for clarity, the error message I'm getting upon trying to instal IP is:
The installation failed. The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.
This is a mac instal (into snow leopard on a mac pro).

When you choose the Infinite Player the serial should show up in your DownloadableSoundz.com user area under "Product Serials" (or eSoundz). However, serial numbers have to be "released" manually by Allen so it could take up to 24 hours for it be in there. Usually it is the next business day but Allen is doing it over the weekend... our infamous support manager.bresnark wrote:Hi, I just made my selection of bonus kits and adds the Infinite Player (I'm a newbie). Hey Squids, I am having a problem with one kit.. the Bill buford kit, it will not show up in kontakt. I checked the zip files and the Buford kit is NOT in the "PATCHES" folder, but it is in the "SAMPLES" folder. the DL size matches and I even DL it again..anyone else have this kit missing in kontakt?

Talk to Allen. There are other ways to get Infinite Player to work without using the installer in case there is an issue with your machine or something. It has to do with having the proper folder hierarchy for the sounds which is:bresnark wrote:Just for clarity, the error message I'm getting upon trying to instal IP is:

Infinite Player
Instruments
Multis
Samples
Studio_Profiles_Infinite_Player_info.nkx
That last file has the library ID and graphics for the plug-in etc. Allen can get you that, it can even be gotten right from Sonic Reality.com
Then you open up Kontakt 4 and hit in the left side you choose the Libraries tab and then hit "Add Library" and browse to that Infinite Player folder that has all of those sub folders and Info nkx file in it. It will pull up the Infinite Instruments library image on the left and have an "Activate" at the top of it which you can click to start NI's Service Center and as long as you have your product serial (Allen can make sure you have that too if it doesn't just show up some time today which it likely will) then you can activate Infinite Player with NI and away you go!
Then you need the Infinite Library Installer which is how you install the sounds. They'll want to see a folder hierarchy like I made above. You can actualy just MAKE that folder hierarchy by naming folders if you want. There's nothing "to it". But, the original Infinite Player Installer makes that for you for convenience... either way as long as you have that Infinite Player folder (and sub folders/file) on the hard drive and area you want your library to be (make sure you have many gigabytes of room for adding lots of great sounds from SR!) then when you use the Infinite Library Installer you just drag and drop the samples and kit ZIPS (read the Quick Start Guide for instructions which is in the esoundz news in the back end of your member's area - but it is easy so I will tell you right here). You keep the kit and samples downloads AS zips and then drag/drop the zips onto this Infinite LIBRARY Installer. It wants it still to be zip so it can unzip and put all of the files into the right place (NKI files go into Instruments, NKM files go into Multis etc.).
Anyway, I am actually not support so perhaps Allen explains it more simply but in case that helps anyone... if one is new to this and wants more personal help then just email allen (at) esoundz (dot) com but please be patient as he's dealing with hundreds of people right now and will get back to you as soon as he can! Thanks. We'll get you sorted.

Everyone has this kit missing because the patches for it are in Phase 2 which isn't released yet. It will be this afternoon if I can get enough SRians together to do it -or worste case Monday when everyone is back at work. You guys just have most of the samples for everything so far. Kit-wise you have the 15 we said and the other 10+ are coming asap! That's for STm kits. The Multitrack kits are also already delivered via the Redeem code (that was phase 3, as I said we switched the order around).jarrydee wrote:Hey Squids, I am having a problem with one kit.. the Bill buford kit, it will not show up in kontakt. quick question: for ultimate studio space 2, do we drag that zip into the installer as well, or manually unzip it and move the wavs to the convolution folder we made from the last gb? thanks.
these kits really are awesome.

Squids thanks for the Group Buy. Funny as it may seem, I ordered the DVD option for both GBs and downloaded so far Phase 1 and Phase 2. All went very smoothly and faster from your server. The zips are all sitting on my desktop waiting for me to load them in IP. But I'm waiting until the DVDs come so I can match the files. For those who haven't got the DVDs, they are definitely worth it. You have a perfect backup in case tragedy strikes and not have to spend the time. Also if you have a program like WinZip Pro, you can just drag the zips directly into the DVD never having to open the zip file. I would wonder if the DVDs are the same way?
Also Squids I have a question. I think I know but want to verify it. OK, the bonus multi tracks are the new Drum Master 2 with the new scripts and additional snares, right? and the original Drum Master MTs will be upgraded with the scripts only?
"Drum Masters 1 users of all kits will get a free patch update with Drum Masters 2 scripts for each of the kits they own whether they bought them a la carte or in a group buy or in the Silver, Gold or Platinum packages."
"There is NEW sample content in Drum Masters 2 Multitrack and Drum Masters 2 Platinum. To get the new samples of style kits, extra snares and any extra artist kits (such as the Jerry Marotta Taos kit in the Platinum) here are the upgrade prices"
The reason I ask is as I was downloading the five bonus multitracks and for instance Drum Masters 2 NDV MT Gretsch® Kit (Multi-Track) I realized that I already had Drum Masters: Nick D Virgilio Multitrack GRTSCH Drum Kit for the Infinite Player from the first DM Goup Buy and thought they were the same but then remembered what you said about the upgrades from DM1 to DM2.
Sorry to be redundant but what exactly are Drum Masters 2 scripts if I chose not to upgrade to DM2? I know about the extras. I'm not clear by term "scripts"I
