Quick question! I downloaded all my MT kits and installed them via the IP installer. Went to load up a kit (MT Soul Kit) and it said it was missing 147 samples(!) and asked me to locate them. This is actually the first time this happened to me so far. Do the MT kits need patches? Or should I try to locate them manually? Never had to mess with this during USD 1. So that's why I'm asking.

Thanx!

It's looking for the "Blues MT Kit samples". Which I don't have. Hmmm......

Always can be worse... sewage for one thing or any of these other disasters around the world. Best of luck to you though and if you need any help getting back up and running from us let us know!

That old Danny Gottlieb drum head or drum stick (you had something on the wall) still intact? The least of your worries I'm sure... but we're glad you came in to say hello! Best wishes to you and the Berfamily.
I KNEW there was something I forgot! I believe the last time I posted, I told you I was going to be posting the pic of the display I created for the DG drumhead and stix. I was going to do it when I got back to my studio because the original pics I had posted were on my studio PC. Well, that's when the first flood occurred. And now I do remember thinking at the time that you guys might wonder why I didn't get back to you earlier. Well, that's why.

The display is still on the wall and in fine condition. The pics are somewhere in the studio PC which is, right now, resting dryly, and, one hopes, securely, on another floor of the house.

Thanks for the offer of assistance. I believe that a little time and a lot of effort will get me through this one.

Cheers

You certainly have - that was some GREAT advice. I'm not sure sure everything's quite working just yet, but SOMETHING is so I'm over the moon. I really appreciate your help.

Thanks,

I also made a spreadsheet which shows the actual kit pieces in each(the sheet was made more as a reference for building your own hybrid kits from the STm pieces, but is still useful to see the hardware involved..it is divided into the 2 group buys by colour, but that can be ignored in this case since the MT kits available to choose from span both GBs).. that link is at the bottom.

Ok... I'm sure this has been mentioned before in this novel of a thread but .... Am I correct in saying that there is 6 NEW kits (that GB1 participants do not already have) to choose from out of the ten extra choices ? In other words, are the other 4 only MT versions of previous kits and the BLUES, CLASSIC ROCK, BONZO, MOTOWN, RINGBEAT, & BRITISH ROCK BRAND NEW kits to GB1 owners? Hope that makes sense :)

THANKS

Squids wrote:Thanks guys. It is nice to hear those things from new customers. It is also nice to see customers for YEARS coming back for more! Man, some of us go back many years now already with these group buys... that's pretty cool and we're glad you keep coming back! Hope you enjoy the sounds Rabid and the veterans of KVR as well as the new people we've met through other forums like GS and VD! This community of SR users and esoundz customers is what keeps us going so as always we thank you so much for your support and wish you the best with your music - whether that's gigging, writing, recording or just having fun! That's what all of this is for anyway.
i love the drums of this gb so much, maybe even more than the last ones, which i also love so much. I spent about two hours yesterday banging on pads with all the new groupbuy drums, until my palms started getting blisters, my elbows started hurting, and the dog started whining. It was awesome. this groupbuy is already a great buy. i can't wait for the phase 2 drum kits, and the awesome hybrid kits made from both gbs. :hihi: :P 8) :) :D
I agree..I did not want to say it but...These kits are a lot better than the OWD from the last GB, call me crazy but I have not used the OWD yet on anything, but the DM2 kits are great!!!

Found it on my laptop. Here you go. Sorry about the glare. This still is displayed proudly next to the door of my studio.

Also, sorry about the size of the image. I can't figure out how to get a smaller but readable image from image shack. Any suggestions I will happily edit this down.

I had that happen on only one MT kit also, I just hit the.ummm, first choice on the left (TOP) I don't remember what it says but it worked!!

just checked out my esoundz account, and found that kits have already been downloadable... and found redeem code for choice 5 from 11!

... and I made a silly and serious mistake. I have chose SONOR MT kit which I already got from USD 1!

Squids, is it possible to ask Allen to cancel SONOR as a choice from USD 2 GB and get another?

Thanks!

I (and others too) made the same mistake, just write an email to Allen (esoundz) and tell him what happened, I¿m sure he¿ll fix it after easter.

Not to sound like a d-bag, but you guys know that it does show you in your downloadablesoundz account what multi-track kits you already have, right?

+1

I write out every kit on a piece of paper and cross them off as I DL them and verify the size, then I write out each kit again and put a check by the ones that work..I have 7 pages of crap from this GB..plus I sat and listened to each MT kit to make sure of what ones I wanted, today when it came time to DL the MT kits, I wrote down the 5 I wanted and crossed them off as I hit the DL button. I would recommend that people do the same or something similar, it helps keep organized with all of this stuff, I learned fast from the 1st GB!!

Poor Allen! Looks like he's gonna have some emails to sort through... but yeah, no worries. If you were in the USD1 GB and in this you picked MT kits you already have then just tell him which kit you wanted instead and he'll take care of it for you. Just be patient with him as he might be overloaded! ;)

Also if you get a missing samples thing pop up then there's a good chance you didn't download the full kit. Check the size of the zip against the size you see on the download page and make sure it matches. You can always just download it again, drag and drop and it will replace it. So that's what is recommended if that happens.
