So whats the word Squids? are we looking at Monday for the rest of the kits? I know your busting your ass on this!!

Post

So, for anyone who needed to use one of their extra choices as the Infinite Player....where do you get the registration code? I've downloaded the program (even though the original group of 25 had the download as well), and have gone to the product serials page...and, nothing.

Is it just a matter of waiting a while, or did you get it elsewhere?

It should be right there in your esoundz DL area under "Here are your product serials:" If it's not there contact support...(I almost spelled contact with K's haha)

Well, the "Here are your serials" area on Esoundz had me click a link to get to downloadablesoundz where I hit redeem to get to my choices for MT kits and Infinite player. I downloaded infinite player from downloadablesoundz (along with the MT kits) and went to activate inifinite. It asked for an activation code...so I went back to downloadablesoundz, and checked the registration keys area....nothing.

So...is there another area? This was a good deal and all, but wow these electronic downloads (not just this one...a number of them) are more complicated than they need to be!

But I'd really like to activate IP so it would stop "timing out" on me!

Try emailing allen (at) esoundz (dot) com. He has to put the serials in manually and he IS working over the weekend (which is not what he usually does but he helps out on Group Buys that somehow always end on Holiday weekends!!!) however because there are so many people you might have to wait until Monday which is the next business day... you never know but he'll do his best! Please just be patient. It is Saturday evening. ;)

Post

Oh, I know....Don't get me wrong. I'm know it's the (Holiday) weekend and all. I wasn't complaining about SR or Esoundz....I was more concerned that with the somewhat(arguably)complicated process that I had managed to screw something up.

In the meantime, 3 cheers for Allen and the crew...as I got my S/N about 5 minutes ago!

And the drums I've heard so far sound quite good!

I'll be curious to hear the Gretsch kit when it finishes downloading....That's the only one I wasn't able to hear a demo from. I HAD to give it a shot!

Post

Ok... I'm sure this has been mentioned before in this novel of a thread but .... Am I correct in saying that there is 6 NEW kits (that GB1 participants do not already have) to choose from out of the ten extra choices ? In other words, are the other 4 only MT versions of previous kits and the BLUES, CLASSIC ROCK, BONZO, MOTOWN, RINGBEAT, & BRITISH ROCK BRAND NEW kits to GB1 owners? Hope that makes sense
The other 4 (that you didn't list here) were the only MT choices in the first group buy (plus we got their stM versions in that GB), now you can still choose from them plus the other 6 are additional MT choices for this Group buy for a total of 10 to choose from.
The 6 you mention are new to this gb in both STM (which we get automatically by joining) and MT format (which of course are bonus choices).

Yeah, I didn't hear back from anyone today except for Allen and I don't want to push it... you know, not everyone is inclined to work as much as me! They have a life. But, I am actually taking advantage of the extra time to tweak some stuff out and make some cool variations that I would have done for myself anyway... you'll benefit!

I tweaked out the Dennis Chambers and Dave Weckl signature snare kits today and man I was loving those! Really nice new stuff. It just gets better and better!

The real power though is having both bundles USD1 and USD2. I told you all about that and some of you took the plunge twice. I think that's a smart move because of the swappable kit pieces between them. I find myself wanting to make the "Ultimate" kit by combining elements from both bundles so... I guess these Hybrid Kits that combine both are probably going to be some of the best ones. Those will come as a fourth wave of extras afterward (but only useful for people that bought both bundles).

Dennis Chambers and Dave Weckl signature snare kits
Oh man! Two of my favorite drummers. Esp Dennis Chambers.

Can't wait to hear those.

Cheers,

Well, about 3 weeks ago, the first wave hit (pun intended) and my studio was wiped out. I was able to salvage most of it, dry out the space and re-assemble it. But then last week the 2nd wave hit and took it all out again. Getting back up this time is going to take awhile. My biggest loss is a hard drive with all the raw song data that I've been creating for the past year or so (no back up). I'm hopeful it can be salvaged, but frankly, compared to some neighbors of mine that have had actual raw sewage back up into their homes, I count myself lucky.
Sorry to hear your news Berfab! That's totally harsh. What a shame. :-o :-(

It would be crushing to lose year's worth of song data. I really hope you can salvage your work and that even if you lost all your data that you have a lot of the stuff figured out in your head so that you can re-record some or most of it to get back to where you were.

I feel for you, and wish you the best through the recovery process.

I must have screwed something up when installing. I have the kits working but I have to manually browse for the nhx file whenever I load a kit. The samples do all load after I select the file. I also have to do a Spotlight Search within Kontakt to find the file for each kit's GUI. Can someone please tell me how to fix these problems? All the samples are there. The kits work great. I just don't want to have to do this manually each time.

Many thanks

The downloads seem to differ in size from what it says on the website, eg USD2 Soul STm Kit Samples says 380084129 bytes on the website, but i get 342337366 packed size in 7zip (windows shows as 334315kb) but the archive tests and opens ok. Do you think it's ok or corrupt?
