Ultimate Studio Drums II: The Sequel - GB Discussion Thread

I must have screwed something up when installing. I have the kits working but I have to manually browse for the nhx file whenever I load a kit. The samples do all load after I select the file. I also have to do a Spotlight Search within Kontakt to find the file for each kit's GUI. Can someone please tell me how to fix these problems? All the samples are there. The kits work great. I just don't want to have to do this manually each time.

Did you re-download the patches folder? squids had to do a little fix to it for that reason!

I have all the MT Kits on offer (I'll doublecheck anyway but it seems so).

Is there a way to get something else instead of that or (if not) may I give the redeem code away in some fashion?

If you were to give it away they won't have purchased the license to use it. That's the problem. In a group buy discount situation we can't let you pick something else because then others would ask the same and it'd be a nightmare for Allen to keep track of... it is already difficult when there's this many people requesting things.

But I assume you knew this going into it and I would imagine it was worth it for the STm kits, 150 impulses, midi grooves etc. alone?

I have DM 1, but I went ahead and picked the DM2 Blasticks kit. It's one of my favorites, so I can have the expanded sample set. That's why it's worth it for me.

FWIW, I also picked the Blues kit, the Bonzo kit, the British kit, and the Motown kit. I feel like I hit the Motherload!

Ok... I'm sure this has been mentioned before in this novel of a thread but .... Am I correct in saying that there is 6 NEW kits (that GB1 participants do not already have) to choose from out of the ten extra choices ? In other words, are the other 4 only MT versions of previous kits and the BLUES, CLASSIC ROCK, BONZO, MOTOWN, RINGBEAT, & BRITISH ROCK BRAND NEW kits to GB1 owners? Hope that makes sense

The other 4 (that you didn't list here) were the only MT choices in the first group buy (plus we got their stM versions in that GB), now you can still choose from them plus the other 6 are additional MT choices for this Group buy for a total of 10 to choose from.
The 6 you mention are new to this gb in both STM (which we get automatically by joining) and MT format (which of course are bonus choices).

Ok thanks... So the 10 extras to chose from are MT versions of what we already have from either gb1 or 2 but not new kits correct?

hah those are the ones i picked too! plus i had the gretch and the blasticks from the last one. i also got the ndv dry one. those are some great kits.

Just drag the zip onto the Library Installer and locate the Infinite Player Folder when the menue pops up. Everything else will be done for you.

Ahh, sorry I misread the post. You can actually unpack the IR zip manually and put it anywhere you like on your Computer as these are not protected files.
You need an Impulse Response Reverb/Convolution Reverb and you will have to load those IRs into that Plug In. Kontakt has a Convolution Reverb, I use Logic's Space Designer, there is also Altiverb and many others.
