Honestly that seems like a version 1.0 sort of feature.
I mean, we all use drums, right?

We will be able to rename them, but not rearrange them, right?
That's what I meant by "proper drum maps".

I know. I don't know if that's what I'd call a "1.0 feature" as you called it. What daw had that at 1.0? Not that one may not have, I just haven't used them.

I think your expectations may be a little high for a brand new daw.

Drum maps didn't exist when the major DAWs were in version 1.0 (Cubase, Cakewalk). In fact, they weren't even DAWs when they were version 1.0!
But things have changed, and with the advent of multi-articulation monsters like Superior and BFD, drum maps are now a basic necessity from the very start for most projects.

Sure they did. I had drum maps for various different hardware drum machines and synths with drum sounds way back before midi sequencers even had audio tracks or there was such a thing as a VSTI.

Good luck to you man... try to relax a little, it's all going to be ok.
