I got interrupted when I was doing that... bold means it is not in Gold. Yellow bold means... highlighted... i think I meant to put all of it in Yellow bold.

Squids wrote:Drum Masters 1 users of all kits will get a free patch update with Drum Masters 2 scripts for each of the kits they own whether they bought them a la carte or in a group buy or in the Silver, Gold or Platinum packages. This is almost completed but will take about a week to populate everyone's user areas for the simple patches that you will be able to drag and drop onto your Infinite Library Installer and enjoy... and we thank you for your patience. A LOT of development has gone into this FREE update!
Can we get an updated ETA on this? Thanks!

Many kits will be updated in your user area by the end of next week. How's that?

And while this thread is being bumped...

Please also provide some information on these Signature Drums. I had been under the mistaken impression that the Signature Drums *were* the extra content that we were going to be paying for in order to upgrade Drum Masters 1. But it seems that the Signature Drums is a whole other set of kits entirely. Pricing and audio demos will be welcomed.

I'm pretty much resigning myself to the fact that I can't buy everything and I'm going to have to start picking and choosing the stuff that would be most useful for my current projects. :| :|

If you want the "everything" of the 7 drummers (Marotta, Gottlieb etc.), both stereo and multitrack grooves and kits then Drum Masters 2 PLATINUM is what has that... not Drum Masters 2 Multitrack which is $249! (obviously). It's over 80 gigabytes of stuff in the Platinum!

Anyway, Ultimate Studio Drums 1 and 2 pretty much have ALL of the Drum Masters 2 Signature Kits so hopefully you got that because it has that plus the OWD stuff and more. Otherwise, no worries, DM2 Platinum is the way to go and I already posted the nice upgrade prices. The upgrade will be available for purchase by next week... or maybe sooner actually.

So...

Almost there. Apparently still some settings and assignments are not done... these new scripts require a lot of extra care to the toms and cymbals... nothing that the user can't do but we have to set it up by default so people aren't wondering "where are the toms" in a GM set. These are the things we're finding out from the Group Buy. So, unlike DM1 which was a whole lot more simple, these DM2 kits are powerful and what comes with that is a lot more checking and double checking. If a script is changed then all the settings have to be redone... we want to iron that out before putting out the free update. Otherwise it would have been yesterday (that was the plan). So, Monday or Tuesday will be when it starts and even then it will be likely kit by kit as we "close" them with their default settings and make sure the script is up to date for the latest addition (V-Drum hi hat) and everything.

I will post when it is there.

That's cool. Definitely try to get them all figured out before releasing them. We can wait.

Your exciting SampleTank related announcement, however, cannot wait. I've been waiting for 3 days to hear what it is... :dog:

How about spilling the beans?

Pretty please?! ;-)

It involves loops, it involves multisamples and it involves customization... it involves Sonic Reality and it involves IK Multimedia! All will be revealed on Monday which is the official day now.
