After updating to OS 1.15B11 the Blofeld crashes all the time.
When you turn the Soundknob the sounds freeze when you turn the Bank and Cat.Filter Knob before.
Is it possible to downgrade to 1.13?

I think you can just reinstall 1.13 over the top.
Have you tried reloading it though? I have only played with it a little but have had no problems.

At the end of the midifile, the Blofeld displays the message "press play to reload" or something like that, which I did. Everything seems ok. I also updated the keyboard-file and the eastersoundset. No problems. Nice new sounds by the way.
Yesterday i repeat the update, again w/o problems. But still have the issue.
If reloading means turn off and turn on the unit, I do this all the time unfortunatly.

I only use USB. OK, good to hear another units may have the same issue.
I'm waiting to the answer of Waldorf. So I hope with a downgrade everything runs like before. I do not really need the possibility to load user-wavetables.

That's why it's BETA... bugs will be ironed out till the full release, I'm certain.

No problems here but i use the desktop version. BTW i used "MIDIBar" from MIDI-Ox for transferring the OS and other midi files. Normally after the transfer the message proposes three things "please switch of the program, disconnect the USB cable and press the Play buttton for restart".
A problem with the update for the keyboard chip was already reported in this thread including a solution from the Waldorf forum:

Could be a version without the "stolen unit" message.
I haven't tried that so far since i already have the first version of OS 1.15 installed. Any experiences here ?
UPDATE:
Some news for the Blofeld keyboard users and the KBC update:

To get the old KBC firmware back you need to downgrade to V1.13 first,
get the Blofeld_KBC_1.01 firmware in (it's in Blo_Key_V1.01.zip in the
Tools folder of the Blofeld Downloads section) and then upgrade again
to V1.15. The hanging notes are back of course, but the velocity
behaves correctly.

If you really pound on the keyboard this would be normal, IMHO.
Sometimes it can also happen if the Modwheel is in a position just
between to values. At least on my unit there's no difference in this
regard between the two KBC versions."

I dunno, but if you really pound on the keyboard, it should be just sending 127, not 1. :/

I haven't updated since 1.12. Do I have to go through all subsequent updates as well?

Agreed. I got my Blofeld with 1.04 installed and went directly to 1.13. From that i installed 1.15b.Goseba wrote:I think you can go straight to 1.15b.
It should be even possible to go from 1.04 to 1.15b without bigger problems.
