For some reason, and who knows? - that issue is because in the "Instrument Options" for some reason the instrument range was set at G instead of all the way down to C-2. You get there by clicking the cogwheel thing in the upper left part of the GUI of that crash and then you see the range in that "instrument options" page.

If you don't want to mess with that we're re-uploading the same USD2 Phase 1 and 2 Global Patch Update again in a moment that has it already set.

Kontakt itself can do some quirky defaults sometimes... it is not perfect. But nothing that can't be changed usually quite easily.

The GM version of Drum Masters 2 NDV MT Blasticks Kit (Multi-Track) is not mapped to GM notes. I believe it is mapped to IMAP.

Have you realized how empty and sad the Market Place looks when there is no SR's Group Buy around?.

It breaks my heart, like a garden without flowers.

The lowest two notes of the keyboard "Keyswitch" through the different mapping modes all at once. C-2 and D-2. We'll set it, but you can too in 2 secs.

I tried C-2 and D-2 and neither set it GM mode.

Ok, on the kits with "missing" cymbals/toms, assigning the slots and/or articulation settings works!

BUT....is there a way to save those settings, or am I going to have to re-assign them every time I want to use the kit(s)? (If I change to a different kit and then back, I have to re-do everything)

That's WORKABLE, but not ideal. And it's possible that ole Blind Tull just missed the save button or some such silly thing.

So far I've only tried the Bruford kit (which seems to have everything as far as I can tell) and the Drum Doc (I'm not right in front so that might not be right)kits (2 of them)

Being able to assign the slots IS a cool feature...cooler if you can make them at least pseudo-permanent.

Suggestions?

Also, has anyone else had difficulty with the Squidmidi grooves? I get an error in loading...apparently they don't like Sonar 8.5?

Re Roundabout71's joke

The brunette was talking to her blond friend and said to her, "I slept with a Brazilian last night.
The blond says, "Oh my God, you slut!"
"Why did you call me a slut?", the brunette asked.
"Well, how many is a Brazilian, anyway?" asked the blond.
Sorry, Squids, but I immediately thought of this when you mentioned eating Brazilian food last night. Was it a Brazilian calories?

Didn't get it at first......

1. Yes, if you change a slot just save back the patch! You can save back either the whole kit into the Multis or just that kit piece into the Instruments section. We recommend you save it and alter the name of the patch a little so a patch update from us doesn't over-write your custom settings.

2. We went through all of the kits and set slots so you CAN actually just download the latest USD2 Phase 1 & 2 Global Patch Update - even the minor Bruford crash thing (was a range setting in Kontakt is all) was covered and that is a small download so... go ahead and fogettaboutit. But GOOD to know how to use the slots anyway so you can do any combination of toms and cymbals you want!

3. We replaced the Squidi Midi Grooves - there was only some issues with file names that Windows didn't like. So, that has been changed and also those ._ and DS Store Mac files.

There should also be JUST the patch updates for the MT kits now in your user area for the ones you chose... this way you don't need to download the whole kit again. The updates are minor though (apart from the Motown Soul kit which fixed sample references... a must if you chose that kit). Mostly slot assignments for toms and cymbals or mapping settings. Nothing that couldn't be done by you quickly as long as you know how it works... and also the 100+ page Drum Masters manual is almost done as well for reference and that is coming by next week.

They're in my user area alright but several of them have 'File not found..' where 'Download Now' should be. I emailed Allen about this earlier but no reply so far.

That's great news about the manual btw - should be very helpful.

OK... I just downloaded the latest IP PLayer from my DLs and I tried to install it and I got the following message: "Install Failed. The following install step failed: run postflight script for Infinite Player Library"

I tried it several times and still no luck.... Squids???? :help:

Just installed a freshly dl'd copy of the premier mt, applied the patches,

is there a way to route tom1 to the tom1 mixer output?

i've tried changing slots etc but tom1 always goes to the tom2 output

is this a scripting thing?

anyone?

Thanks for all the patches. I could not download two patches.
For kit MT JB Sonr Kit Patches Update there's this message: "File not found:4151" and for MT NDV Grtsch Kit Patches Update: "File not found:4273".
