Oh, sorry I forgot to say that the key switches didn't solve the Output channel problem. Tom1 comes out through Mixer channel Tom 2 in GM mode, V-drum mode and even Custom mode.

In fact when I load the Premier MT multi, Tom1 is assigned to Slot2 and Both drums sound when I hit Tom 1. If I then reassign Tom1 to Slot 1, the drums will sound seperately, but Tom1 still shows meter activity ONLY on Mixer out Tom2.

So I saved the multi after I reassigned Tom1 to Slot1, but there's no change in output assignment. (I have also applied all patches.)

Any ideas why it might be acting this way??

Sorry if this has been covered already but one of the kits I've downloaded, the Soul STm kit, shows a lower file size when downloaded, i.e. 342.3 MB, than is in my download area on eSoundz where it shows 380. I've tried re-downloading it several times but it keeps coming up short. I haven't installed it yet but is this an error? Has anyone else noticed this?

It should be 362 MB = 380.084.129 bytes

Dont worry, I had the same thing going on but the kit works great for me!!

Looks like Monday will be the hybrid kits right?, Squids does a great job of putting kits together, I really like the hybrids from the first group buy!!

Hybrid kits on Monday, yes. Got backed up on Friday.

Also, the minor minor tweaky fixes and/or settings (more settings) are going to put into a final USD2 Global Patch Update as well and we'll be done with USD2. The bonus EXTRA EXTRA Hyrbid Patches I will do in my travels (already started) and post those within the next 2 weeks. I am going to Vegas for NAB then I have a session with Simon Collins for this album we're working on and I'll be traveling around a little bit but on line and doing fun things like... making hybrid kits.

By the way, I just posted this. Here's a new video, just some behind the scenes footage of the Neil Peart session...

So did it work out for you? the only problem I have had is the snare drum dynamics being funny but you can adjust that manually..

Yes, mostly. I installed everything last night and all seems to be working fine at first glance, including that soul kit. I haven't tried working with it in detail so haven't noticed the snare drum issue you mention but it does play okay.

The only thing is that for all the MT kits I don't get any level, nor can I control volume or pan etc. in the instrument interface or the mixer in Kontakt. Tuning seems to work but not much more. Is this to do with how they're set up, being multi-track, something to do with the routing or whatever?

· In the Bruford's kit the Tom #3 sounds quite different compared to the other five ones. What toms were sampled for that kit?

· What snares from the 2 Group Buy respond to positional MIDI CC data?

about the patches,

- will we have to apply them on the kits we'll get on the DVD?
or
- are the kits on the DVD already patched (and so these kits, on the DVD, are immediately ready to use)?
