IK Multimedia Xpansion Tank 2 Group Buy

I've been through enough Group Buys that I feel like I have everything already. It would be good to know how the sounds in these new packs were packaged earlier. Also, are there updates in the presets or replaced samples?
I know there will be some overlap with older products, but will there be a soundlist for the 30 modules so we can see how much of an overlap there will be?
By the way, for SampleTank newcomers, it looks like you could buy in 5 times for $250 and get everything (assuming we reach the 6-for-1 level, which we will). Now that's a deal!

The loop titles of the same name have the sounds but in SampleTank instead of Rex etc. Downtempo is an extension of Trip Hop and Hip Hop is an extension of Dirty South (talking about R.A.W./ReTank) but they have these new Menu Maps which are pretty awesome. Seventies Retro Grooves is the old Retro Grooves title. Cinematik is the Film Orchestra 1 and 2 material we did way back for the one of the orchestral Group Buys. Most of these sounds are either from past Group Buys that many don't even know about or from various Sonic Reality products in other formats now finally in SampleTank format (like the Vocal Collection for instance).
If you've been in every SampleTank Group Buy we've done on esoundz then this may not be for you... unless you are sure there are titles you never had - even the original Expansion Tank titles some people didn't have and when they went away they were missed so... now they're back and with additional sounds pooled from the Capsules and other sources.
It is important to know thought that these are titles from the "Sonic Vault" - meaning that they are from sounds we've done for SampleTank over the years - some dating back to the beginning and some more recent.

Thanks for the reply, Squids. I'll wait for the list and see if it is for me, even if only for completeness' sake. (G.A.S. is a sickness, I know.)

I am in on this, but I'm waiting for Esoundz to reveal what extras they will add (for users who don't already own Sampletank), as I am considering to use my Jampoints and get it from the IK store instead.
I will probably buy into it more than once, anyway, so I just need to find out if there will be any benefit from buying twice from Esoundz rather than once from IK and once from Esoundz. Depending on how things turn out, I might buy more than twice as well... Only time will tell

Good question.
Especially for those of us who paid full price for ST 2 years ago, while the ST newbies are getting the full engine for mere chump change.

when ST2 XL came out in late 2003, i paid a nutsy price (equals a new NI Komplete 6) with about 50% of the content ST2.5 XL has now.

Damn you!!!Squids wrote:Now, enough with the sour puss moaning guys! Let's, as usual, have fun with this and crank it up so everyone can get an amazing SIX for ONE! $50 for SIX libraries out of 30 for SampleTank (and SampleTank engine for free?) That is a no brainer... the best deal we've ever done for SampleTank so lap it up!
And I was really going to pass this up...

Does anyone know the levels at which the multipliers go up (4x1, 5x1 etc)?
And, if you buy from eSoundz, don't forget to refer someone. Here's a list to choose from:

Hi Squids.
Does "Seventies Retro Grooves: Drum Loops in the Style of Classic Rock, Funk & 70s Pop" overlap with anything in RAW Gold?
It doesn't look like it does based on the details, but I wanted to double check.
Thanks.
