I've taken some time to learn Drumaxx intimately and just started doing some work on it for IL. I will say it definitely gets the "Xenos Soundworks seal of approval" lol. This thing can make some POWERFUL syntheitic kicks, snares and toms well beyond the typical vintage beatbox simulations if you sit down and spend some quality time with it

I updated but didn't get chance to play until last night, when I noticed that Drumpad had been added as well.Cold Reflection wrote:Thanks for the heads up, will update tonight.
Now I understand why some of you were unhappy when it was removed from the original release, it's a great addition to the original drumaxx
This is worth every penny and then some.

Thank you for the update.
How do you update ?
I mean, do you have to re-download it from IL website and go again through the full install process, or is there any automatic/direct update procedure ?

You go to your personal page on the Imageline site, download the new version, install it, download a new reg file, and then double-click on the reg file to register the new version. Takes about a minute, all in in all.

I have to say that i'm a bit surprised none of the many good sound designers here released yet some refill for this drum synth, considering that i believe it sold many copies due to the unconventional selling formula it had at the beginning.
Is anyone working to that? Just wondering.

I am not used with this quite unusual way of doing, but i followed your hints and it worked fine

Is there a way to drag and drop the grooves into the host DAW as midi file? Also I can't seem to sync Drumaxx to the host playback . Is this possible?

That method of updating seems to be a good way to prevent theft\warez. I'd much rather have to download a new reg code than use a dongle.sinkmusic wrote:Thank youJake Jackson wrote:You go to your personal page on the Imageline site, download the new version, install it, download a new reg file, and then double-click on the reg file to register the new version. Interesting, i just installed new demo version upon older version without changing the reg key. And it's still works and registered.Jake Jackson wrote:That method of updating seems to be a good way to prevent theft\warez.
