Hallo there,

This has probably already asked but I don't really have the time to search the thread pages as I am tired after work. I already own Sampletank 2.5 XL and every other IK product (e.g. Miroslav, Sonic Synth, Sampletron, etc.)

Is this bringing me something new? As I said I already own every other product (essentially everything ex the -T-Racks).

Squids confirmed for me a few pages back that the World Instruments tank is basically the same as the Rare Instuments - Acoustic from that Group buy. So yeah, total overlap

One thing I've never understood about IK Multimedia (which overall I find to be a very customer-friendly and responsive company) is why they are so secretive with providing complete lists of the instruments and patches for their products -- right on their website. It would be great if someone would actually follow up on this for these Xpansion Tanks on offer.

So are you guys receiving the samples immediately? If so, I would LOVE to hear more samples of the SampleArp and SampleOB.

The SampleArp demo on IK's site is nothing short of baffling. It seems more focused on loud drums, loud bass, and MeloTron strings. Why can't the demos just play a few of the patches?

Word of caution about the SampleArp:

If you were in the e-soundz Rare Instrument GB a while back, the Bonus Bank we got in that GB contains a great deal of overlap with the SampleArp tank in this GB.

It's good stuff, just don't want anyone to have to find out the way I did

In this thread some have commented the overlapping of the group buy to the previous purchases of the loyal IK customers, for a good reason.
What if instead of the "fully Xpandable" player in this group buy there was an option for the full SampleTank sample-workstation? The possibility to edit the samples with all the real SampleTank features made this group buy really interesting. Harry

yeah thanks.. not a huge deal since the Bonus Disc was a freebie which also has a bunch of other cool stuff. I'll pretend I bought that instead

I knew there was going to be some overlap and maybe should have waited for the lists.
There actually are quite a few more presets in the tank than there were in the bonus disc. To be fair I changed my other post to read "overlap" rather than "most if not all"..

On a related note, the OB Xpansion seems to be totally unique for me and I have pretty much everything except Samplemoog and tron.
