Just wanted to echo the comments of all the other folks who have purchased just about everything...all I need is a sound list so I can acquire a couple of these with minimal duplication.

Almost a THOUSAND users in just the first few days? Is there really any doubt that this will jump to at LEAST one more level? I would say that anyone wanting to wait for the next level should have no doubts. PLENTY of time left, and the next level isn't too far away when you consider how fast it's going.

Maybe these are a few stupid questions but...
why do I have to pay 63.00 € if I buy from esoundz?
Am I wrong? Is that site telling me the wrong price?
Or is there a special on buying through esoundz?
This is a wonderful GroupBuy. I'm not really rich so I want to say thanks for this offer. I never could have bought so many Sounds otherwise. And I'm absolutely happy with the quality... THANKS A LOT!

A question for Peter at IK (or anyone who has done the below)...
If I buy in a second time, do I get a second unique serial number for SampleTank2.5?
I have brought this for me already, but I would like to buy it for my Son for his computer..as he is only 14 and doesn't have a Credit card, it seems easier if I buy it.
We've found a broad appeal in this group buy. I like the isntruments for doing my own composing, whereas, he doesn't really have a musical background (except for a love of it) but is impressed with the possibilities using the construction kit loops. We have totally different musical interests (rock v hip hop/dance) and this GB seems to have something for everyone.
Eager to know if I will get a second serial so I can get it for my son.
Cheers

The problem is the sounds are only licensed to one person and can't be shared according to the end user license agreement. If your son was to get his own set of sounds with his own SampleTank XT that would be okay. He'd have to have his own registration email etc.
Anyway, it is important to know that the libraries cannot be shared.

Ignore that. It is an issue with how it displays and tries to convert what it would be in Euro. But the site doesn't charge in Euro - it charges in dollars.Siedler wrote:Maybe these are a few stupid questions but...

Thanks Squids. We certainly intend to have our own sounds and have no intention of sharing them (he just wants the construction kits, me, I only want the instruments).Squids wrote:The problem is the sounds are only licensed to one person and can't be shared according to the end user license agreement. I'm a software developer (in my real work) and have a full appreciation of intellectual property and licencing and wouldn't be setting a very good example if we were to breach the EULA
Does seem it would be easier to set him up independently though.

That's really nice to hear. Let us know and I am going to give your son $10 in epointz for picking out other sounds he may also like just because he has a cool Dad! Let me know his esoundz account login name and we'll hook it up for him.Analyst69 wrote:Thanks Squids. Thanks Squids. That's really nice...he's totally chuffed. No wonder people seem to hold you in high esteem. I have just set up his esoundz account with him and will PM his account name to you.Squids wrote:That's really nice to hear. By the way, he has been totally impressed with your finger drumming videos and is inspired by your demos of the loops in this group buy.

I want to be sure if there is any difference in buying over esoundz or ik?
btw.: Happy "Music-Makin-Time" for your son, Analyst!

I bought two lots of Sampletank XT for myself (hey, I had a bonus!) and while I have got all six expansion tanks as expected, there is only one Sampletank XT instrument listed in my user area.
The first Online Registration Report email gives me a serial number for the Sampletank XT whereas the second does not. Should I not get a second Sampletank XT serial number? I'd like to give the other XT instrument to my daughter with its default sound library.
Also in the Promotions area I only have one each of the 2x1 and 3x1 downloads. Presumably when this reaches 4x1 I'll just a third button and be able to download twice?

But there IS a difference. You get more sounds if you buy it from esoundz.Siedler wrote:ah, ok... thanks for the reply! - just as i thought.Squids wrote:Ignore that. You see, here's the thing... we KNOW it it is convenient to get these group buys from IK. So, traditionally we have to raise the deal, raise the bar, up the ante, challenge them to a duel (okay that's taking it too far). Ironically in this case IK is selling Sonic Reality sounds... so the whole thing is all in good fun really. David (Squids) and Golliath (Italian Stallion). But I've got a sling shot... and it's 1 gigabyte of EXTRA sounds you can't get anywhere else! They'll still "win" and everyone wins really. But it is fun to play...
Now, to raise the bar even more we're going to add on ANOTHER bonus if ESOUNDZ can reach 1,000 joiners alone. We're about a tenth of the way there. We don't have the counter system anymore on this type of Group Buy unfortunately but I can look it up and update you all and let you know if you're getting close. You'd have to REALLY spread the word (I do! How much? A LOT! Right you're in... name the movie/skit first and get $5 in epointz!) and tell everyone to buy it from esoundz. Don't worry, IK doesn't mind.
Now this other bonus... hmmm, I may have to start breaking out the sound lists. The bonus material from esoundz may just be worth joining an extra time on esoundz even if you already joined once with IK. Or join twice with esoundz... hmmm, okay, I've got another one for ya! JOIN TWICE on esoundz and we'll give you $25 back in epointz! (basically the second one has a half back rebate in credit on the site for other sounds).
So, here's a summary:
1. Join the group buy on www.esoundz.com and you'll get an extra exclusive 1 gigabyte library of sounds - most of which have never been released in this form.
2. Join TWICE and get $25 in epointz back into your account to use on other downloadable sounds (that are downloadable from esoundz or www.downloadablesoundz.com - that includes some nice a la carte SampleTank sounds by the way)
3. If 1,000 people or more join at ESOUNDZ (actually we'll include people that join twice as two separate people so you have a better chance of hitting the thousand) then we will give everyone ANOTHER surprise bonus that I will reveal soon. Those that know us know we do some sweet bonus extras so... this could get good!
Here's the link. Spread the word! http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?Prod ... ode=XT2KVR
