ePointz adding up right?

A couple of days ago, I had 43 epointz, and I have had two people use me as a referral and gotten the email saying I had 5 epointz each time. So I should have 53, right?

But I only have 49. It only added 4 pointz for the first person, and TWO for the second one. It hasn't done this in the past.

Any idea what is wrong? Maybe some fine print I'm missing or something?

Yes, it is 5% of the sale up to $100 which caps out at So it is actually only $5 when it they are purchasing $100 or more. It only seems like it is always $5 because usually people ARE spending at least $99 when they purchase. But if they purchased say this current $49.95 Group Buy it'd be about $2.50 in epointz or more if they also purchased something else at the same time.

Oh but it sounds like the email uses a template and has incorrect info in there. Sorry about that.

Cool, that explanation works for me! It makes sense for sure. No worries. But as mentioned, the email said 5 epointz, so I got confused. That explains why it was more in the past since the GB's were more 'expensive'.

Glad you asked. I noticed the same discrepancy and wondered why that was. Now we know.
