PS. Did you end up getting the alesis kit?

Not yet -- been saving up money and waiting for my tax return. I'm going to make a decision today. I found someone selling a used roland td6 for 600$ that I am going to check out this afternoon, which is also a factor. What do you think old TD6 vs. Alesis USB PRO?

I actually played a td6 before I bought mine, the alesis is bad ass, I am glad I bought them...you could get them for $600.00 new!!!make an offer on an ebay store for 600!!! Thats where I got mine and they threw in all kinds of stuff, drum thrown, t-shirts, sticks..ect

Once you choose them you can download them whenever you want. No time limit. But you DO need to choose them soon.

It's there. Only very minor changes though - V-Drum hats for Bruford and NDV Timbale Kit with the new script. That's it. You can download the same USD2 Global Patch Update and run it again if you need those two kits with the V-Drum hi hat.

I've tried it (in vdrum mode of course !) : the ndv timbale is ok, but for the bruford kit, the hihat is in demo mode : if it's just a false "mistake" in the name and if it's not limited in time, it's not a real problem for me. But let me know Squids please.

It sounds like the hi hat doesn't have the encryption in it if it is showing in Demo mode. So, once again, this Bruford kit will have to be updated. The curse of the Bru.

You seem to be the only one who is affected by it. Just kidding. We'll get that replaced by tomorrow... I'd like to think the Bruford kit for V-Drums will in fact be closed at that point! I've never seen anything like this before. It was a tricky one.

yes after having a look at this forum and vdrums forum, i thought a lot of edrummers had notice it... but it's not the case... i'm the latest yes fan here ? impossible !!! i love this kit ! but you were not lucky with this one, i know !

actually, I have that happen from time to time (the demo mode thing) with a bunch of kits. it's not reproducible though, so I don't think it's a kit problem, maybe something on my machine. I've even had times when I just loaded a bank and it all switched to 'demo' (not the whole 'demo-activate' kontakt player thing, just instead of seeing a drum, I saw demo instruments that I couldn't edit), and then just reloaded it and it was fine for more than an hour.

No idea what's going on there, good news is that even when it switches to 'demo' mode, at least in my case it plays fine, just can't edit it.

Squids is a treat to deal with in all but one sense... He has a habit of promising tougher time lines for delivering products that they can make.

Hey guys, have a question. In most of the multis and single instruments I notice a lot of "grainy" leftover sound in the decay, for example in snares and toms. Is that intentional bleed from the overheads or something?

Just wondering if I have everything setup right.

Oh and the extra snares, are these incorporated somewhere in the existing patches or are they supposed to be additional patches?

Ooh heck, I was hoping to get better clarification on the DM1 upgrades (i.e. the chargeable additions for the samples) before I selected these. Is that soon as in next few days Dave?

We'll start updating kits individually tomorrow. The first 10 will be the Multitrack kits that were in the GB and then of course the stereo kits will have STm versions... this is the week (woops...I am not allowed to say that! But it is so keep your eye out on your user area for downloads!).

Also for those in the USD2 Sequel GB the bonus 25+ hybrid kits are now available for download!
