Just noticed that Dingo last edited the list on April 20, 2003 , so I presume he's not updating it anymore ?

Sorry, Pantsdown, but quite honestly I have been unable to keep up with all the new releases - especially since SynthEdit took off in such a spectacular manner.Pantsdown666 wrote:Just noticed that Dingo last edited the list on April 20, 2003 , so I presume he's not updating it anymore ?
I will try to get to it within a week.

Hi there, great list!
well.. you can add 2 more FX.
Cu's the SideKick is updated to version 2.0. (the SideKick was and is a sidechain emulator)
Finally, all the parameters you need + GUI.
And theres a major update for the FlyBaby
The FlyBaby is an envelope resonant filter made with impulse responses from my crybaby (see pic)
(Like the wahwah pedal from Jimi Hendrix).
Download the plugs here -> http://www.twistedlemon.nl

They're free, enjoy and please leave something in my guestbook on my site...
Cu's i'm afraid of big white empty spaces..
Thanks ! Greetinks !

This is a stereo unit with seperate distorion controls for each channel, plus seperate wave shape drawing/edit windows for each channel. The unique thing about this is that the editable wave shape allows you to distort just a particular sweet spot of a sound and not the entire thing if you wish.
Two other effects on the web page by Train of Thought Collide, but I have not tried them yet.
Not sure if this is new, but it does not show up in the KVR effects or in a forum search.

Dear All,
Please forgive my ignorance but I'm new to all this VST thing. I'm looking for a free VST effects (sorry I'm scint at the moment) that will computerise a voice abit like Daft punk that sort of style. Someone has asked me to do it for them and I haven't a clue. I'm using Fruity Loops Studio Producer edition and have the DS 404 computer music thing and the Ohmygod basic thing it that helps at all.
Sorry to take up someones time with something so petty but it would really help me out.
Many thanks
Cosy Pete

cosypete,
i'm not sure but i guess you are looking for a Vocoder.
There is a Vocoder in FL Studio, which is called Fruity Vocoder.
You might want to try mda Vocoder, too.
And if money is not a problem, just check the following out (i didn't try them, so no advice):
Prosoniq's Orange Vocoder
NI's Vokator

Isn't that the same with Cher's thing.opiadream wrote:I've read that although it sounds like daft punk is using vocoders all the time,in some cases it's just auto-tune used to an extreme
I've seen big debates on that one and am quite curious how this is done?

Here's a different vocoder - free. You have to you use carrier/modulator - l/r, but the sound is great.As a vocoder I like the www.vocoder-plugins.com "4ormulator".
