.. Done all I can on the e-album for now ... would be nice to hear from all the entrants re what you want on it re. images and info.
So heres some info and questions to help ...
When you open the e-album, there is a pic of Anubis, an info panel ( click to close ... and reveal track list ), play buttons for the tracks, and buttons on the right to open pics/sleeve front or whatever.
When your track plays, a panel opens. The idea at the moment is that this panel will contain the info from your submitted txt file ( host, fx, instances etc ) .. but maybe this is boring! ... so you might want to send me a brief bit of info re the track .... cut 'n' paste your fave review excerpt? your email/website? a small pic? link to your other material? combination of these? something else? ... then send it to me .... if it's not poss to fit it all in, I can place it elsewhere.
Pic buttons ..... there are two at the moment, but if necessary, I can add more. each opens a square panel ( closing others ) almost the size of the album screen. Somewhere on here, a bit of info re one-Synth-Challenge will be included, and a link to the Anubis thread .. also links to the donors sites .... possibly as an animated sequence. If I get a load of pics/images, this is where they will prob end up .... so if there's anything you think should appear here, then send it to me!
I hope to put it all together by Wednesday evening ... and I'll just put together what I have ... unless anyone needs me to hang on while they prepare/send/find anything they think should be included.

Uhmmm... all I think I could say about myself is this:
Mac is one half of the Italian Cosmic Music/Berlin School duo "BIOnighT" ( www.bionight.net ). You can find info about him and his vast musical production (most of which is available as free download) on his website www.macvibes.com
The track presented here is part of his 2010 drone album "Sleep".
If you want, you can also add the cover pic http://www.macvibes.com/CDSLEEPE.html
Anyway, feel free to take anythin g at all from my website, should you need it. Thanks for this very nice idea, I love it!!

Excellent Mac! .... this is my participants prize, and unlike previous prizes, I am attempting to make it as useful, with your input, as I possibly can .... so the more you put in to it, hopefully the more you'll get out of it

OK, got all the available info on the track pop up panels, and a little extra 'appeal feature' added to the e-album. I would upload and send links to it 'as is' in the hope of inspiring more input from you guys, but it's more time ... def would like it finished by Wed evening ... its pretty good as it is, but if you want it to be more useful to you, then see above ... download the prototype, and give me what you have re. info you want to present, images/pics etc.
Cmon folks, I have an OSC15 track to write as well!

Ok, how about:
SID Wat, aka mrblitz, aka Andy Thomas somehow arrived musically at the idea of 'anything goes.' He's been releasing recordings for quite awhile, and now resides on the internet at http://www.sidwat.com ... Originally a guitar player, the unfolding of musical technology eventually led into the land of home recording, and virtual synthesizers. Today, he attempts to mix traditional guitars and vocals, with sequenced and synthesized drums/bass/keyboards. Of this particular One-Synth-Contest Anubis track, Haunted Megalopolis; it's about a series of dreams which all seem to take place about the same virtual metropolitan milieu. A simple intro was sequenced, and the rest of it was live playing, from the computer keyboard. It's basically a jam on 3 chords, with a lot of accidental notes; some intentional, others not so much. Being nowhere near the most accomplished keyboardist in the world, mrblitz yet loves to jam away in his own childlike fashion. Regardless of the musical veracity of mrblitz's various one-synth offerings, he considers it a real gift; to be involved in interacting with so many great synth programmers/composers/players. Listening - month by month - to what the other contestants arrive at, given the limitations of the one-synth concept; and that's the best part of the contest.

Hmmm .. yeah, thats way more than enough!!!
.... to give you a clue as to how much too much, I had to summarise macs info piece!
No worries though, I'm happy to take bits out of that and put them together on a small panel.
