Cheers, just bought it, at first thought 'Ace Steroids Grand Bundle' was different sounds to 'Asteroids 1,2 & 3', so a little confused but then read the 'Ace Steroids Grand Bundle' write-up and realised it was 'Asteroids 1,2 & 3',

Cheers anyways, was a little over £13.00 that's all!

Btw I rushed like the devil to finish the manual, zipping aso, and the banks has begun to ship with one day in advance ( Auto

to myself ) ....

So it might actually be in your mailbox already

I'll send the rest of the banks later tonite

So dont panic -yet :- if its not in your mailbaox

(Have to eat sometimes and the family dont like to wait as I'm also ..... the cook

)

Got it already

When I'm bored working on modern sounding Breaks/Dance Music I like to go retro and try my hand at doing old (80's) school Electro Funk music(the stuff that got me into music), that's where I want to try with these sounds, so hopefully will get some use from it, apart from that I find Ace a very good synth soundwise but cannot program it myself yet

Yeah thats the main reason why we rarely released some genre oriented soundsets, like a Trance bank, or a DNB one, because I believe we're not the same musicians every day every hour. Sometimes we want energetic presets, and sometimes some quiet presets. Sometimes some grooving ones, and sometimes some more static ones. This can also happen in the same track actually, with bridges aso.

Anyway I think you'll find as well some usefull presets for Break or Dance music ( Visit the Leads folder for example ) in Asteroids, and some new audio demos will hopefully reinforce this in the near future

Else all the banks ordered today should have been delivered

I couldn't resist to share a very cool quote from a kind ACE Steroids user :

This one inspired me a lot because sometimes I'm also jamming with the presets during an hour or so. ( While building them or later by browsing/refining them)

SOoOo that some other muscians can feel the same pleasure to play with the instruments than for example with a costly real Rhodes Samples Pack, or Real pianos, etc really made my day.

And dont forget that you have more than 200 of them for approx. 1/4 of the price of a barely decent Rhodes. Or a decent Pizza !
