As 4x1 is rapidly approaching now, and I need to make a decision, I have a question regarding the Acoustic Drums expansion tank. As I have the Studio Drums sound capsule already, is there anything in the expansion tank that would make it worthwhile to have as well as the capsule?

No post in an hour? What's up? Even the counter has temporarily slowed!

Is the end of the world near at hand? :o :-o

On a semi-serious note, there are 1435 registrations when I last looked. Not too shabby! :D Do you think we'll hit 1500 today? Or do you think the GB is taking a breather, and we'll hit 1500 tomorrow?

If there are any people who use Sony's Acid, plese post over on http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/for ... eID=706969 ?

We could use some good feedback on using ST in Acid.

I posted in the AcidPlanet forums, but I can't see how to provide a link.

Depending on your tolerance for overlap, it might be worthwhile.

This tank includes only the GM kits from the Capsule, so nothing new there in your case unless you don't have the ST versions (the Capsule appears to be for other samplers like Kontakt, EXS24, Halion etc, although I have the ST versions from a Group Buy so not sure if that became standard at some point)
It also has the i-map kits from the original expansion tank..

There are some pretty good kits there.
I compared the sounds list with what i have in my original tank folder and there appears there may be some additional child presets too.

OK, uhm... I've got a problem here.

How do I route the instruments to the different outputs?
SampleTank has 32 Outputs but somehow I'm to stupid to find out, how to assign the instruments to the channels! Please give me some help about this!

Thanks guys... ;)

P.S.: Does Everyone know what to take at 4x1?

On the main interface of ST, you'll see for each instrument a "1+2". That means they are routed to the first two outputs (a stereo pair). I believe you just click on that number with your mouse and slide it up or down to select a different pair.

I'm getting Symphony strings 2 for the fourth option....but my mind changes frequently

I believe Peter stated that ST has been tested with 64 bit with no problems. Maybe he will clarify.
