This was mentioned some pages back, but only about the ARP Xpansion. I think the solution was to increase the volume and save it as a child preset.shanecgriffo wrote:just curious, anyone else finding some wide volume differences between presets?

I will look into getting the sound list for the XT 2 pack.

The SampleArp and SampleOB may have some drastic level differences. It's come up a few times (even though ironically we had these two in a past group buy and it only came up - if at all - very little... but maybe by comparison to other titles it is more prominent now or something... not sure). Anyway, we're going to look into updating those two with level changes and see if that's something that can be done relatively quick. If so there will be an update. If not I will let you know... wouldn't be the end of the world to live with it and just change the levels and save back child presets to your liking... I could easily do this with child presets myself by the way but changing the parent patch is a bit more involved. I'll let you know.shanecgriffo wrote:just curious, anyone else finding some wide volume differences between presets?

If you followed my directions and it didn't work then you can just wait for the official update from IK which will be a full download I believe of the pack and replacement. That will be easier than trying to figure out why it didn't work... when it should if one follows my directions exactly. But, my download wasn't anything official - it was just me being nice by offering it to the anxious and daring.fergusonbbb wrote:I put the child update presets to the original folders ( cinematic, world ) but I cannot see them in sampletank allthough I updated with preferences.

Squids, I would love to hear some combis using SampleArp, SampleOB, Cinematik, Vintage Keys, and Strings (along with a few stock sounds from XT). You're so good at creating those combis man. Ya just gots ta do a few fer us
Btw, thanks for the compliment Blueman! We'll make sure there are some wicked Combis especially for those titles.

A new set that is a sampling of the sounds in the Xpansion Tank 2 series from Sonic Reality.pekadan wrote:This has probably been asked and answered already, but I can't find it (sorry)...
The 1 GB worth of sounds that come with Sampletank XT, are those a subset of the Sampletank XL sounds, or a completely new set?
