Hi, jmp909

I'm sorry.
I think that this is caused by a bug of initsettings.exe. I think that I occur in the case of new installation by all means.
I update it immediately.

I updated initsetings.exe which there was the problem now.
When I install it newly, I fail in initsettings.exe of an old version regardless of the OS by all means.
Oh, I am a fool how.

From the following, please download it again.
The file name becomes "Synth1V108a.zip".

I've done some compacting, filling in blank patches with other banks that were small in number. There also was a Mutant bank that I used to fill in blank presets in other banks. Is this list of any use to anyone?

Thank you so much Daichi for your wonderful synth and for your recent updates!

I hope you realize what a legend your somewhat simple synth plug-in has become! Many of us think of it as the standard by which all other synths are compared for stability, versatility, and low CPU use, at least in the freeware world. It would certainly be one of the early entires in the softsynth hall of fame!

As for the GUI, I love it just as it is! No doubt LimeFlavour is a most talented designer and I love all his artistry! But I personally find the Synth1 GUI to be quite wonderful in its own right, and feel it fits the tone and attitude of the synth perfectly.

Thank you once again Daichi for this fantastic, and well-designed musical tool that has brought countless hours of satisfaction and joy to composers and listeners alike. I still use Synth1 everyday in my compositions, and still find new ways to express myself through your impressive creation!

Well I be damned!! My favorite softsynth since 2002 has been updated, and with damn lots of bank spaces too!

I just couldn't believe the topic title, and thought to myself: "Is this a bumped April fools day" topic? I was wrong. And I'm damn glad I was! Synth1 has been the last 8 years, still is, and will always be a synth that I will use for the next few years to come. If not longer! So a big thanks, and welcome from me to you Daichi!!

Just a few small suggestions from me:

1. With so many new bank slots it would really be awesome if the preset window would stay open while you look for a preset. The current methode is ok, but it takes twice as much time locating good presets. I don't mind seing this behavior as a checkbox in the options.

3. As for preset preview here is a suggestion: Single click to preview a preset, double click to load a preset.

3. The preset list has a not so nice habit of changing bank while the mouse is over a bank button. This would be very good if you could alter so you click on them instead. I don't mind seing this behavior as a checkbox in the options.

4. With today's advanced computers it wouldn't hurt to have at least 32, maybe 64 voices polyphony. I tend to lay down huge chords, and the more notes available the better for me.
