Ah... ok. It would be handy if Synth1 would just load the bank name from the folder-name it points to.DragonSagoth wrote:@crimsonwarlock - you can name the banks already, although it's a bit more tedious to do. You have to rename the soundbank folder AND the registry entry...

Toda-San, you are a legend in the VST world. A very big welcome to you. You might not know this, but for many years, we the users of Synth1 have wished for you to appear. Many of us tried to contact you but never got any response. You were like a ghost--the mysterious Ichiro Toda that no one can find.daichi1969 wrote:Nice to meet you good evening.![]()
My name is Ichiro Toda(daichi). I am a developer of Synth1. Thank you for having you use Synth1. I am tempted into Teksonik now and write in it at this forum.
I intend to update it steadily in future.
I will sometimes write in it at this forum.
I am sorry, but I please do not ask a too difficult question because I am weak in English.![]()
I use the automatic translation.
I was thinking more like Albino type of layers. You know, multitimbral stuff.Lunatique wrote:When you said you'll add layers, do you mean each oscillator will become independent and have their own modulation settings?

This synth jargon is apparently not easy to translate either

His sites blocked in China though, so I can't dl...bummer
I just gave that a try, but it didn't work. Is there anyway for this to work on Win98(SE)? I understand it if there's a major change to the sound engine (using SSE, etc.), but what happened? Talk about getting good news and bad news all at the same time.Yeager wrote:Download 1.07 ? ( see if it runs )and just replace the dll ( with 1.08 )?dbz wrote:I just tried running it without using "initsettings", just to see what would happen. It turns out, nothing happens. The dll doesn't seem to even load into the host program. So it looks like it may be more than just a registry issue. I hope that isn't the case. From the changelist, it didn't seem like anything that would warrant breaking support for Win98(SE)... but what do I know?
