I do wish Bob Marley was still alive, he could have made Ganja synth!...vst and audio unit!

Absolutely, the surest sign of good program. But Reaper does call instruments FX which is bit kiddy and somewhat confusing.

I guess I'll start mine 2 days before the deadline :hihi: and again it'll be badly mastered :D Job and studies are eating almost all of my free time :help:

(dwsel goes to listen some calm music before going sleep)

Post

Cool dwsel, I'll start mine a few hours after you ... and I'll use musagi as my host! :hihi:

Post

Guys, I really think you're taking too long to record those tracks - I suggest you start like 25 minutes before the deadline :D :D :hihi:

Post

Musagi? Oh man, this is so masochistic!

Post

Or Musagistic even? .. Ok, I'm gonna do it! :hihi: ... not done a track in Musagi ever ... so let the challenge commence!! :-o

Post

Well I've started my track ... in musagi!! .... and its goin OK! Temped to use some automation ... musagi lends itself well to tweaking on the fly!

Post

For such a small download size, Musagi has quite a bit under the hood. The thing with it on my machine, is that it seems to crash a lot.

If it's stable on your machine, it seems like it would be really fitting for an OSC production.

Post

Yeah It's a very capable host actually, can be a bit unstable, but I gather there have been updates since the version I'm using.
The other thing is that it is hitting quite a high cpu load with 6 instances ... but the cpu load drops when the track is playing! .. strange!

I dont know if i'll manage to finish the track in musagi, but I'll give it a go! :)

Post

.... 7 days, 13 hours and 41 minutes to go! :)

Post

Come on guys, lets have some tracks! We're struggling here :-o

Have to say tho, I'm not surprised ... this is a beast of a synth to work with .... some great presets, but hard to get the sounds I want just as I want them! :?

Post

.... well, I now have 9 instances of StringZ2 running, and Musagi is becoming very musaggy! ... In my determination to finish the track in musagi, I'm gonna try sticking to the sounds I now have. Still, the strange thing is that it is far less CPU intensive when the track is actually playing! ... so i'm gonna have to write as it's running!! :-o

Hows everyone else getting on? ... still over at OSC14 discussing age related ailments? :hihi:
