Hi I am running the Sampletank 2 demo
I love it so far, but The import wave in Cubase just sits, and sits, and does nothing.
Is there only certain wave sample rates that work. I am doing nothing fancy with these wave files.
They will all play in windows media player.
I am using Windows 7 64 but running the 32 bit version of Cubase 5.
I did get it to work 1 times for a vocal ooh I did in Cubase . then I bounced the selection to my projest pool, then imported that file , and it worked.I was stoked and then tried to grab my Greg adams Big band grass waves but just kinda froze at conversion window
Please help . I want to be a Sampletank Convert
Roger
Import conversion just stalls out ?

Found this
* SampleTank 2 FREE opens only a limited selection of sounds, Import function has been disabled, only one instance is available, and the utilization of User Presets has been disabled.
SO it will let you import only onse in the demo
Got it
Time to buy this beast

Just as a bit of warning...the import function is pretty buggy even in the full version. It hangs frequently, and it's difficult to get it to work right.
I like Sampletank a lot, but it's best to think of it as a ROMpler and not a sampler.
Just wanted to make sure you knew that before you purchased.

I definitely hope that they improve the ability to edit instruments in ST3. It can stay a ROMpler, and doesn't have to match Kontakt as a sampler, but it would definitely be nice to be able to edit the positioning of samples and better customize your own instruments and those from the SR/ST library.jsp1979 wrote:I like Sampletank a lot, but it's best to think of it as a ROMpler and not a sampler.
