Oh, I'll throw my new find in here.
Electrify for the iPad is the sample based version of the iElectribe. Elegant design with x0x style sequencer of course. Additional cool points for automation lanes for the sample parameters. Right now it doesnt have sample import, but I am hoping it does soon.
Also, if anyone is interested, Beatmaker recently dropped from $20 to $10.

I've collected a bunch of this software and the problem I have is that when creating music on the iPhone I quickly reach a point that I want to move it to computer for editing and publishing. Not being able to do it is why I hate to even load one of those apps anymore. Thumbjam does look more like an instrument than a DAW so I may give it a try.
I wish someone would make a iPhone music app that could upload to a PC version.
